The Mining Profitabilty is Crazy Today

Ethereum Profits right now are through the roof and I got no clue why this is happening. I just woke up today and saw that my Current profitability for Mining Ethereum on my GPU was 10 USD approx. I wrote this post titled Mining Bitcoin on my Gaming PC about 6 days ago and there you can clearly see that the profitability was around 4 USD per day approximately but now it has literally doubled.

When I was searching as to why the profitability rose so much I see that the price of Ethereum has increased nicely and that could most definitely be a reason but still I believe there must be some other reason as to why I am getting double the payouts. But hey I am not complaining and I would love for this profitability to stick for the entire Year.

But we all know that Ethereum is moving to a Proof of Stake System and once that happens the mining for Ethereum stops and then we will have to look out for other coins to mine. But that is in the future and I will think about it when it comes. As of right now, I am just enjoying these profits and I would really suggest anyone who has a GPU just lying around just go ahead and Mine some Ethereum while you are at it. Just so you know if you use Nicehash Miner then you need to have a minimum of 0.001 BTC to withdraw so yeah just remember that.
