Strength Is Forged Getting Back Up

You wish your path was easier, because facing one obstacle after another is draining your energy and your confidence. I understand that exhaustion, because mental strength is never built when things are easy, it is only forged in the exact moments you choose to stand back up after a hard fall.

Desearías que tu camino fuera más fácil, porque enfrentar un obstáculo tras otro está agotando tu energía y tu confianza. Entiendo ese cansancio, porque la fortaleza mental nunca se construye cuando todo es fácil, se forja exactamente en esos momentos en que decides levantarte después de una caída difícil.

That is exactly what happened to my daughter the time she did not get her swimming badge. Her real strength did not show up in the easy lessons, it showed up the day she decided to get back in the water.

Eso es exactamente lo que le pasó a mi hija la vez que no consiguió su medalla de natación. Su verdadera fuerza no apareció en las clases fáciles, apareció el día que decidió volver a entrar al agua.

Here is the lesson I learn during those moments, and the one I share with my clients often. Every difficult fall is not working against you, it is training ground for the strength you are going to need later in life.

Esta es la lección que aprendo en esos momentos, y la que más comparto con mis clientes. Cada caída difícil no está en tu contra, es el terreno de entrenamiento para la fuerza que vas a necesitar después en la vida.
