In another part of Higashimaya District stands Yasaka no Pagoda, also known as the Hokan-ji Temple. It is a landmark in Kyoto that has been the inspiration for many artists over the years.

I’m sure you would have come across pictures or artwork with the five storey pagoda standing tall between the Yasaka Shrine and the Kiyomizu Temple. The pagoda is surrounded by residential houses and is recognised for its earthquake safe structure.

Although it was destroyed many times and burned in war, it was always reconstructed to its original form. Today’s structure was rebuilt in 1440.

Another picture perfect spot you would not want to miss when in Kyoto.

Original content of any type is welcome on Hive, including information about Japan. However, it is not good to post other people's Instagram photos here, unless you have obtained their permission. I also see that several of the writings on your blog have been copied from other sites, which is not good for the reputation of your account or the Hive blockchain. Seriously, you should be writing your own posts, not taking the work of others if you want to succeed on Hive and in life.
