[ESP-ENG] Ladies of Hive community contest #16: My participation

Hello, beautiful people of Hive. This is my first time posting here and I'm glad to have the chance of sharing my thoughts with such amazing people.
As you may know, Ladies of Hive started the #16 edition contest in which they ask two questions and we can answer one or both. I'm going to answer just one of them because it have such a meaning for me. This is:
- What is the best advice your father, grandfather, uncle, or a male friend ever gave you?
Alright, let me start by saying that I grew up with just my mom so masculine presence in my life wasn't really and everyday thing.
My mother's family always been really caring and attached to us, that is why they always gave me advices for the future and how to be better but one of the most important ones and I really stick to this words since then it was said by my uncle:
My uncle is a man of advanced age but he still likes to learn a lot of things guitar, photo editing, cooking, etc., so he said this to me when I was 13 years old and was stuck of want I really wanted to do in the near future, I used to have a close mind that if I couldn't do want I first wanted then I have to give up.
He teached me that you have potential to do so much more than just one thing, and the more you learn more chances will be waiting for you. There's no limit for what we can reach in our life and if we feel such self-satisfaction when you achieve something then imagine achieving a lot of more than that.
That's how I live right now, I advice you to do the same. Learn, achieve, grab chances and then start over again because it will make you so happy.

Hola, hermosa gente Hive. Esta es mi primera vez publicando en esta aquí y estoy muy agradecida de tener la oportunidad de compartir mis pensamientos con personas tan increíbles.
Como ustedes sabrán, Ladies of Hive está realizando su la #16 edición de sus concursos, está vez están colocando 2 preguntas de las cuales podemos responder solo una o ambas. Yo sólo responderé una porque para mí tiene mucho significado. Esta es:
- ¿Cuál es el mejor consejo que tu padre, abuelo, tío o amigo te ha dado?
De acuerdo, voy a empezar aclarando que crecí solo con mi mamá así que una figura masculina en mi vida no era algo que podía tener todos los dias.
La familia de mi madre siempre ha sido más unida a nosotros y nos ha cuidado. Es por esto que siempre me daban consejos para mi futuro pero uno de los importantes y que me hicieron aferrarme a esas palabras desde entonces fueron dichas por mi tio:
Mi tío es un hombre de edad avanzada pero que un le gusta aprender muchas cosas cada día como cocinar, tocar la guitarra, edición de fotos, etc., así que el me dijo esto cuando yo tenía 13 años y estaba atascada por saber que hacer en el futuro cercano, solía tener una mente muy cerrada así que pensaba que si no podía hacer lo primero que quería entonces debía rendirme.
El me enseñó que tenemos mucho potencial para hacer más que solo una cosa, y que mientras mas aprendas mas oportunidades estarán esperándote. No hay límite para lo que podemos alcanzar y si sentimos tanta auto-satisfacción cuando logramos una sola cosa imagínense al lograr aún más que eso.
Así es como vivo mi vida ahora mismo y les aconsejo que hagan lo mismo. Aprendan, logren y tomen oportunidades porque eso los hará muy felices.
