What I'm most Grateful For | Ladies Of Hive Community Contest #64

It's a beautiful 2022 and I'm totally excited about the going perfect or imperfect. I'm also excited about the ladies of hive community which has helped my writing in the last 1 month and we made to it to the new year. For the contest;

What are you most grateful for right now?

Asides being grateful for life, I'm excited 2021 is over with all the hurdles it carried.

Around February/March 2020, while still in school. I had just gotten my project topic for my final year research work in the Department of Biochemistry, University of Uyo which was 'The effects of Lime on Cardiovascular And Reproductive system of female albino wistar rats'. Towards the ending of March, everything came to a hold because of the corona virus pandemic which struck the whole world. Fast forward to February 2021, when we finally resumed and the project work commenced in full. I had challenges with financing the work as I had to purchase rats, rat cage as well as feeds. I also had to pay for analysis for the testing for the 2 parameters required in my topic. With all the challenges from financing to doubling working on the animal farm house to attending lectures and doing assignments and it was really hectic but in all I'm grateful I completed that part of schooling, wrote my final exams and came out in flying colors, defended my project and now awaiting the national compulsory service for my country.

This was the toughest phase of my life and I'm grateful it finally came to a wonderful end with a Breakthrough. Truly, the adage 'What doesn't kill you makes you stronger' is underrated because I am stronger and better.
Thank you very much for the opportunity to share this with the Ladies of hive.
Happy new year.
