The first time I heard the word warp outside of a loom, was in a Biodanza class - My teachers whom I miss very much, because since the quarantine began, our meetings were suspended and there have been few times that we have had the opportunity to meet - They talked about the warp, that web of relationships of different colors, sizes and forces that sustain our life.
And if you think about it, it all makes a lot of sense, the warp of life, that network of support that helps you, listens to you, sustains you, encourages you, motivates you, embraces you and stop counting the adjectives. When we unite as human beings, the result is much greater than the sum of its parts. We are strength, we are love, we are unlimited wisdom, we are hope, we are faith?
Thinking about us women, this warp is necessary, we women are used to support each other, to help each other. The mere fact of speaking and being heard is priceless. We need those ears ready to listen to us without judgment, without criticism, just listening, it is an invaluable therapy.
Our warp has a great variety of shades. We have those cheerful friends who do not stop to the problems of life, as a friend always says "we suffer, but we enjoy". In spite of the problems we keep walking and we know that we have the strength and integrity to achieve what we set out to do.

There are also our serious friends, those who always listen attentively, without mockery or judgment of our problems, no matter how silly they may be. They teach me that life is so wonderful and there is so much to be surprised by that why waste time reasoning, when the truth is, there is nothing to reason about.
One of my favorites are my faith-filled friends. No matter what happens, they always believe they are protected by an absolute power and will always be victorious. Their faith is unwavering, I often wonder where they get so much strength and so much ability to calm down. I believe that one of their key words is thankfulness, they are thankful for everything, absolutely everything.
All of them, regardless of their characteristics, are warp, they are there to support you in the web of life, that neural network of support in life, that invisible force that is more powerful than we can imagine.

La primera vez que escuché la palabra urdimbre fuera de un telar, fue en una clase de Biodanza - Mis profesoras a quienes extraño mucho, pues desde que comenzó la cuarentena, nuestras reuniones se suspendieron y han sido contadas las veces que hemos tenido la oportunidad de encontrarnos - Hablaron sobre el urdimbre, ese entramado de relaciones de diversos colores, tamaños y fuerzas que sostienen nuestra vida.

Y si te pones a pensar, todo tiene mucho sentido, el urdimbre de la vida, esa red de apoyo que te ayuda, te escucha, te sostiene, te alienta, de motiva, te abraza y pare de contar los calificativos. Cuando nos unimos como seres humanos, el resultado es mucho mayor a la suma de sus partes. Somos fuerza, somos amor, somos sabiduría ilimitada, somos esperanza, somos fe…
Pensando en nosotras las mujeres, ese urdimbre es necesario, las mujeres estamos acostumbradas a apoyarnos, a ayudarnos. El solo hecho de hablar y ser escuchadas, no tiene precio. Necesitamos esos oídos prestos a escucharnos sin juicios, sin críticas, solo escuchar, es una terapia invaluable.
Nuestra urdimbre tiene una gran variedad de matices. Tenemos a esas amigas alegres que no le paran a los problemas de la vida, como siempre dice una amiga “se sufre, pero se goza”. A pesar de los problemas seguimos caminando y sabemos que tenemos la fuerza y entereza para lograr lo que nos proponemos.
También están nuestras amigas serias, aquella que siempre escuchan con atención, sin burla, ni juicio nuestros problemas, por más tontos que sean. Están las amigas que ven el mundo con ojos de niña, eso me encanta, me enseñan que la vida es tan maravillosa y hay tanto por que sorprenderse que para que perder el tiempo, razonando, cuando la verdad, no hay nada que razonar.

Una de mis favoritas son mis amigas llenas de fe. No importa lo que ocurra, siempre creen que están protegidas por un poder absoluto y siempre saldrán victoriosas. Su fe es inquebrantable, muchas veces me pregunto de dónde sacan tanta fuerza y tanta capacidad de calma. Creo que una de sus palabras claves es agradecer, todo, absolutamente todo lo agradecen.
Todas ellas, sin importar sus características, son urdimbre, están allí para sostenerte en el entramado de la vida, esa red neuronal de apoyo en la vida, esa fuerza invisible que es más poderosa de lo que nos podemos imaginar.
