Hello LADIES OF HIVE!

Not too long ago, I wrote my first article on Hive. I primarily share my passion and journey in saving precious metals, and just like all of you, my interests are many and varied.

Some of my past interests included horseback riding (show jumping and equitation), Yorkshire Terrier breeding and conformation dog showing, Hula Kahiko (traditional, primitive dancing) and Hula ‘Auana (modern hula dancing), playing musical instruments (piano, organ, guitar, ukulele and violin), surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, shopping for clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories (like many girls).

Did you have a hobby or interests in the past that waned slowly through the years... when there seemed not enough time to do them anymore, or simply that you didn't do them as much anymore because your circumstances have changed? For instance, I used to enjoy shopping a lot up until five years ago. I no longer shop as much as I did before.

My current interests are stacking in precious metals, baking, cooking, eating, wine tasting, and traveling, and for sure I forgot several more. Oh, and I love to swim!

At least 2 hours of my week is devoted community service helping the needy. I am also a cancer survivor, have been in remission for over three years now, and thus I devote a few hours a month participating in support groups for other cancer patients. I am in my early 40s and dream to live a full life to my 70s.

This afternoon, I created the LADIES OF HIVE community. Along with @thekittygirl as Admin and all the ladies of Hive, together we hope to grow the Ladies of Hive community into a viable and vibrant community.

It is SilverSaver888. Although manually done, Hive-124452 rehives the articles already. Perhaps we can have our own system for the succeeding post in the future. A rehive fro you is special, @pixresteemer and It will help encourage them to use the community if articles are rehived. How about if we do a promo and we do a random drawing for those who have posted an introductory article in this community. I can provide the names to you... Anyway, I'm sure we can work something out but...let's talk about it somewhere next week. I'm leaving for a couple of days and I'm not sure I'll have a (stable) internet connection where I'm going. A lot of trees for sure, but no much technology around 😉

I'm trying to get in right on the discord, but previously it seems it created a new account when I followed the link that was given to me and it let me in but wouldn't let me do everything because it says my email is taken. So.... I did change my password and I have a discord account from when I was on steam. I opened it and tried to add Ladies of Hive, but it now tells me my invite i not valid. Somebody tell me something. Did everyone have to redo when they moved to Hive. If I got an invite on Hive is it no good with my previous discord account? I need help cause I not only want to be there, I want everything to work like it should.

ha ha... I'm not sure how I got this post in the middle of everything else.

I am so terribly sorry, @jacey.boldart! I was away from Hive and discord the entire afternoon to attend a board meeting in person. I was just by discord and glad to read that you finally made it in!

Though I do like to swim... the ocean is full of MONSTERS! 🤣 And I've never been surfing, snorkling, or scuba diving... BUT I'M READY!
In most other instances, we are the same.
I'm so glad to have found you on here!

Goal: We get together IRL for some music, swimming, dancing, shopping, and wine drinking!

Hopefully, this weekend I'll get an intro post going for here.
