En esta oportunidad escogí para responder esta pregunta:
Hay muchas cosas en el mundo que son crueles, injustas o no lo son ¿Qué te rompe el corazón y cómo tratarías de cambiar el mal si pudieras hacer algo al respecto?

Cuando leí esta pregunta enseguida me saltó a la mente el holocausto, es un tema que siempre me ha hecho sufrir y que me rompe el corazón aun cuando ocurrió hace bastantes años atrás. Ver películas o historias sobre ese momento de “horror” que vivió la humanidad me estremece de muchas formas.
Me ha resultado muy difícil procesar esa parte de la historia, parece increíble que hayamos pasado por eso, y estoy muy consciente de que han ocurrido momentos crueles como ese, incluso mucho antes que eso, como por ejemplo la época en la que hubo “cacería de brujas”, pero en mi corazón no cabe tanta maldad y ensañamiento con tantas personas inocentes.
Más allá de traer imágenes o historias sobre el Holocausto, quisiera enfocar mi respuesta en lo que siento que nos hace falta como seres humanos y esto es: TRASCENDER los temas de xenofobia, racismo y discriminación por diferencias sociales, entre otras.
80 años después de esa desgracia genocida, me sorprende que aun exista en la humanidad ciertos patrones o conductas tendentes a ver al otro como un desigual, y con esa bandera se dediquen a perseguir o discriminar a otras personas por su color de piel, por la nacionalidad, por su estatus social, sus condiciones físicas y tantas otras cosas.
Todo esto denota que aún nos falta mucho por trascender y por elevar nuestra conciencia hacia una visión integrada y armoniosa sobre lo que en realidad Somos. Cada uno de nosotros es un ser especial, dotado de esa chispa de luz Divina del Creador y cómo tal, seres maravillosos y perfectos. Si tuviéramos eso presente, nos daríamos cuenta que no existen tales diferencias.
Debo confesarles que me frustra mucho el tema porque no tengo muy claro cómo puedo luchar contra eso, si pudiera hacer algo al respecto, sería predicar esa verdad de lo que somos y promover la solidaridad y la compasión entre todos. Por otra parte, creo que en el "microcosmo" de nuestra existencia, haría una diferencia si me conduzco siempre con amor y no discrimino, juzgo o maltrato a cualquiera de mis semejantes por ser diferentes o pensar distinto a mí.
Sin embargo, me entristece como la sociedad se muestra indulgente e indiferente frente a ciertas realidades. En mi país este tipo de discriminación y diferencias está muy marcado, o eres del partido del gobierno o de la oposición, si estás en uno o el otro, eres igual mal visto e incluso “maltratado”. Somos todos de la misma nacionalidad y no obstante a eso, 20 años de “pensamiento socialista” nos llevaron a creer que somos diferentes y que no hay punto de encuentro.

Creo que para poder trascender este tema, es vital que la humanidad pueda reencontrarse con su verdadera naturaleza, mirar más allá del aspecto físico o material y abandonar el Ego, ese tirano que nos ha hecho sentirnos superiores al otro, más merecedores, que nos ha llenado de egoísmo y movido a satisfacer nuestros intereses personales por encima de los demás.
Ese Ego, pinche tirano… ¿cómo podríamos abandonarlo?
¿Será que el amor puede conducirnos hacia ese camino de trascendencia?

Greetings Hivers and Ladies of this beautiful Community, thank you for the invitation that you make us every week to answer very interesting questions, I have had many commitments lately and had not been able to continue writing in the Community, so I am happy to be back here sharing with you.
This time I chose to answer this question:
There are so many things in the world that are cruel, unfair, or unjust. What breaks your heart and how would you try to change the wrong if you could do something about it?

When I read this question the holocaust immediately came to my mind, it is a subject that has always made me suffer and breaks my heart even though it happened many years ago. Seeing movies or stories about that moment of "horror" that humanity lived through makes me shudder in many ways.
It has been very difficult for me to process that part of history, it seems incredible that we have gone through that, and I am well aware that there have been cruel moments like that, even long before that, such as the time when there were "witch hunts", but in my heart there is no room for so much evil and cruelty with so many innocent people.
Beyond bringing images or stories about the Holocaust, I would like to focus my response on what I feel we need as human beings and that is: TRANSCEND the issues of xenophobia, racism and discrimination for social differences, among others.
80 years after that genocidal misfortune, it surprises me that there still exists in humanity certain patterns or behaviors that tend to see the other as unequal, and with that flag they dedicate themselves to persecute or discriminate other people because of their skin color, nationality, social status, physical conditions and so many other things.
All this shows that we still have a long way to go to transcend and to raise our consciousness towards an integrated and harmonious vision of what we really are. Each one of us is a special being, endowed with that spark of Divine light from the Creator and as such, wonderful and perfect beings. If we would keep that in mind, we would realize that there are no such differences.
I must confess that I am very frustrated by the subject, because I am not very clear on how I can fight against it, if I could do something about it, it would be to preach that truth of what we are and promote solidarity and compassion among all. On the other hand, I believe that in the "microcosm" of our existence, it would make a difference if I always conduct myself with love and do not discriminate, judge or mistreat any of my fellow human beings for being different or thinking differently from me.
However, it saddens me how society is indulgent and indifferent to certain realities. In my country this type of discrimination and differences is very marked, either you are of the government party or the opposition, if you are in one or the other, you are equally bad seen and even "mistreated". We are all of the same nationality and notwithstanding that, 20 years of "socialist thinking" led us to believe that we are different and that there is no meeting point.

I believe that in order to transcend this issue, it is vital that humanity can reconnect with its true nature, look beyond the physical or material aspect and abandon the Ego, that tyrant that has made us feel superior to the other, more deserving, that has filled us with selfishness and moved us to satisfy our personal interests above others.
That Ego, evil tyrant... how can we abandon it?
Could it be that love can lead us towards this path of transcendence?

Muy buen post este. El Holocausto fue terrible, pero ¿sabes qué es más terrible? que esa tragedia no sirvió de nada para educar a la humanidad, todo lo contrario, ahora los crímenes son más atroces. La única opción que tenemos es tratar de ser íntegros e intentar formar nuevas generaciones más conscientes. Un gran saludo.

Muy importante tu reflexión sobre la naturaleza de nosotros como seres humanos. A mi también me sorprende y angustia que a pesar de que la humanidad ha pasado por momentos terribles donde no hay respeto por la vida, pareciera que aun no hemos aprendido lo suficiente. Así es amiga, pareciera algo evidente que el respeto por la sacralidad de la vida debería estar en primer orden para alcanzar ese equilibrio en toda la humanidad, y sin embargo, pareciera que la humanidad no ha evolucionado lo suficiente para darse cuenta de ello, aunque reconozco que nos hemos transformado de muchas formas.

I find today's Fanatical Ideology a key impediment to progress in coming to a public social forums. It is why the freedom of speech is so important. We as individuals should decide for ourselves through civilized moral persuasion rather than what is dictated by our media or anyone else.
To simply shut off, de-platformimg an opposing view does not solve any issue in any respect but only drives it underground making it more extreme in many cases. It must be open to public discussion rather than suppressed since such rash action has resulted in violence as history records.
We need to return to Civil discourse and respect, not be caught up in rhetoric.

Thank you very much for the contribution you bring to this reflection. Certainly freedom of expression is key to the debate of ideas and fanaticism and ideologies of any kind have only left us a long history of tragedies.
I feel that every day we gain a little more in conscience, but at the same time I think there are many sleeping people who follow en masse like sheep what politicians, religious, social media and any other authority figure say.
