Post Halloween
My Hive posts have become a family effort!
I have mentioned that my photo taking opportunities are so sadly limited because of Covid and all the days I spend at home, and my family has stepped up and started taking photos for me to include in my posts.
It's rather fun to have everyone involved and keeps us even more connected.
I had not been aware of 'candy shutes' until @crimsonclad mentioned them on her Saturday Cyberbuzz show. It appears to be a great way to maintain social distancing.
I suggested to the kids that next year they should fashion one so that they can give out candy from their 4th floor balcony! 😂
This video is what Halloween looked like at my daughter's house!

That squirrel gets treats whether it is a holiday or not. This entire year has been a loss for me as far as holiday celebrations are concerned.

Unfortunately, at the rate the virus is spreading, and given some people's attitude towards the virus,it is going to take a little longer than necessary.

We don't have Halloween here in South Africa, but there are many residents from other countries here and they normally hold their own Halloween parties.
I love that squirrel video. If your daughter continues to feed that little one it will certainly become like our little squirry.
Maybe show her this from the post that I will do later today!
What a great picture! My daughter has one squirrel that has climbed into her lap if she sits on the steps. She learned that compared to lightweight chipmunks, squirrels are sharp and pokey!
Hahaha, sharp and pokey indeed and we all have little marks on us from squirry's scratches.
But she doesn't mean any harm, as they use their claws to get around, so she can grab a shirt like a branch, not able to distinguish that there is flesh unser the shirt lol.
Such is life milady!
🤣Doing a nail trim would not work out for them. We will just have to put up with the pokes!

It was a noisy night as I got to enjoy the neighbors fireworks.
Somehow Halloween and fireworks do not go together for me! Rather a confusion of holidays. Enjoy the chocolate!
