My participation: Ladies of Hive Community Contest #19💗 Post in English & Spanish
The two themes that make up the contest promoted by @ladiesofhive have been very interesting to me, encouraging me to participate in this round No. 19. The word icon has several meanings I have been inclined to refer to two women icons of sport in Venezuela and an icon of our gastronomy as the Arepa Reina Pepiada.
In relation to my favorite story I am going to talk about the beautiful story of "The Nightingale and the Rose" and the character of story in my life is my older sister, later you will know why.

Los dos temas que componen el concurso promocionado por @ladiesofhive me han resultado muy interesantes animándome ha participar de esta ronda N° 19. La palabra icono tiene varias acepciones yo me he inclinado por referirme dos mujeres íconos del deporte en Venezuela y por un incono de nuestra gastronomía como la Arepa Reina Pepiada.
En relación a mi cuento favorito les voy a hablar de la hermosa historia del "El ruiseñor y la rosa" y el personaje de cuento en mi vida es mi hermana mayor, mas adelante sabrán porque.

Deyna Castellanos, who at her young age of 20 years old is a star soccer player who has made achievements that have made her stand out in a sport that until recently was considered only for men.
This Venezuelan born in Maracay, Aragua state, became passionate about soccer when she was only 5 years old. Her older brother, who is also a soccer player, invited her to play with other boys and it was only a matter of time before she started training with a team. She made her debut at the age of 15 with the Venezuelan women's national soccer team in the 2014 Copa America Femenina. That same year she won the scoring title, Adidas Golden Shoe, at the FIFA Women's World Cup Costa Rica 2014.
Her career has been vertiginously on the rise, last year she signed with Atletico Madrid, I feel great admiration for this young woman who has proven to have a tenacious spirit and fearless of challenges, Deyna stands today as a benchmark of women's sport worldwide inspiring many to achieve their goals with hard work and discipline.
Deyna Castellanos, quien a su corta edad de 20 años es una futbolista estrella que ha cosechado logros que la han hecho destacar en un deporte que hasta hace poco era considerado solo para hombres.
Esta Venezolana nacida en Maracay, estado Aragua se apasionó por el fútbol con apenas tenía 5 años de edad, su hermano mayor que también es futbolista, la invitaba a jugar con otros chicos y fue cuestión de tiempo para que empezara a entrenar en un equipo. Debutó a la edad de 15 años con la selección femenina de fútbol de Venezuela en la Copa América Femenina 2014. Ese mismo año gano el título de goleo, Bota de oro Adidas, en la Copa Mundial Femenina de la FIFA Costa Rica 2014.
Su carrera ha ido vertiginosamente en ascenso, el año pasado fichó con el Atlético de Madrid, siento mucha admiración por esta joven mujer que ha demostrado tener un espíritu tenaz y sin miedo a los retos, Deyna se levanta hoy como un referente del deporte femenino mundial inspirando a muchos a lograr sus metas con trabajo y disciplina.

Vivió una infancia humilde en una pequeña casa donde se filtraba el agua de lluvia. Su padre no la quiso apoyar y solo su deseo de ser mejor y progresar la llevó a destacar y ser convocada a competencias a las que no pudo asistir por falta de permisos paternos.
Muchas veces entrenó a escondidas bajo la complicidad de entrenadores y amigos.
La venezolana Yulimar Rojas, plusmarquista mundial de triple salto en pista cubierta, conquistó el premio Atleta Mundial del Año por la World Athletics y es la tercera latina en la historia del atletismo que consigue el prestigioso galardón.
Sus medallas y premios son reflejo de superación, lo cual no duda en transmitir a quienes la miran como un ícono para seguir adelante y de que con dedicación es posible cumplir los sueños.

I feel a great satisfaction to have as an icon of Venezuelan gastronomy the "Reina Pepiada" one of the most delicious arepas that has become famous around the world and believe it or not in Venezuela many arepas have their own name, something that denotes the importance of this succulent food.
This Venezuelan dish, which was ranked a few years ago as the best breakfast in the world by food critic Adam Lepetina, has been introduced in the hearts of many people due to the number of Venezuelan migrants who are scattered around the world. And it is not surprising since its ease of preparation and delicious flavor allows it to be tasted by thousands of people. This tasty gastronomic icon undoubtedly has the opportunity to carve a niche for itself in every kitchen on the planet.
Siento una gran satisfacción al tener como ícono de la gastronomía venezolana a la "Reina Pepiada" una de las arepas más deliciosas que se ha hecho famosa en el mundo entero y aunque no lo creas en Venezuela muchas arepas tienen su propio nombre, algo que denota la importancia de este suculento alimento.
Este plato venezolano que fue catalogado hace unos años como el mejor desayuno del mundo por el crítico gastronómico Adam Lepetina, se ha ido introduciendo en el corazón de muchas personas debido a la cantidad de migrantes venezolanos que están regados por el mundo. Y no es de extrañar ya que su facilidad al momento de preparar y su delicioso sabor permite que sea degustado por miles de personas. Este sabroso icono gastronómico, sin duda tiene la oportunidad de abrirse un hueco en todos los fogones del planeta.

Any of us can see ourselves reflected in the characters of this beautiful story.
The nightingale represents that person who loves unconditionally and is capable of giving everything for love, the young student is obsessed with conquering his young beloved and his beloved is that narcissistic and self-interested person who only cares for her, for her and for her.
That beautiful way he explains the nightingale's sacrifice to see the student happy, reminds me that we all have suffered for a love. The nightingale wanted him to be with his beloved and sacrificed for it.
However, it left me with a moral. Sometimes we give everything for something or someone and in the end we realize it wasn't worth it.
Mi mi cuento favorito es "El Ruiseñor y La Rosa" de Oscar Wilde.
En los personajes de este hermoso cuento nos podemos ver reflejados cualquiera de nosotros.
El ruiseñor representa esa persona que ama incondicionalmente que es capaz de dar todo por amor, el joven estudiante esta obsesionado por conquistar a su joven amada y su amada es esa persona narcisista e interesa que solo vela por ella, para ella y pro ella.
Esa hermosa manera en que explica el sacrifico del ruiseñor por ver al estudiante feliz, me recuerda que todos alguna vez hemos sufrido por un amor. El ruiseñor quería que pudiera estar con su amada y se sacrifico por ello.
Sim embargo me dejó una moraleja. A veces damos todo por algo o por alguien y al final nos damos cuenta que no valía la pena.
The fairy tale character in my life is my older sister, she is Cinderella's Fairy Godmother.
For as long as I can remember she has always done everything to make me happy. At Christmas she would beat Santa, her gifts were what I always wanted, she would please me in everything, the first trip abroad was given to me by her. She always comes to my rescue and works in my favor as if by magic. Yes, I definitely and fortunately have a Fairy Godmother from fairy tales.
El personaje de cuento en mi vida es mi hermana mayor, ella es el Hada Madrina de Cenicienta.
Desde que tengo recuerdos ella siempre ha hecho todo por verme feliz. En navidades le ganaba a Santa sus regalos eran lo que yo siempre quería, me complacía en todo, el primer viaje al exterior me lo regaló ella. Siempre sale a mi rescate y obra en mi favor como por arte de magia. Si definitiva y afortunadamente tengo un Hada Madrina de cuentos de Hadas.
