Seems like everyone in the neighborhood put their windshield wipers to their cars in the upright position so that they wouldn't freeze to the windshield. It promises to only be an inch, maybe a dash over the inch, so, it sounds like I will only need a broom and not a snow shovel to take care of business.

A voice from the dark called out to me. Was it, but, just a few yesterdays in time? Where I was riding the waves of the Caribbean? The sun and shine hemmed in by beauty? Who knew when I said au revoir, I would not meet up again for more than a year, and that is if I get lucky. I needed a little flashback while I wait for my snow coming tonight.
I do love the snow. Perhaps it is because it is a once a year, maybe twice event and it only lasts for a day or three. I can get on board with that. Nothing earth-shattering and to be honest, I really do enjoy the four seasons. As long as they are evenly spread out.
All is calm. All is bright.

I feel like such an old guy when I take the snow blower out to clear a few inches. I could probably bash it out of the way in a few minutes with a shovel. When you get to use a broom, it is just not enough to deal with!

I do have the best of both worlds! Our seasons are pretty evenly spaced, although we do have a shorter winter that most.
Im looking forward to a little more snow, although we may get rain on top and wash it all away the next day.
