Ladies of Hive Community Contest #7 - My Animal

Ah, I like more and more the questions in the contest because they leave you thinking for days in search of some answer. Which animal could I describe and identify with? Well, I'll tell you a little anecdote, when I was little I was really obsessed with pandas, I used to say I was one of them and in fact, I have a collection of pictures of me wearing hats, shirts and panda costumes until I couldn't, but as I grew up I realized that I was only my favorite animal at the time, my personality really didn't match the lifestyle that a panda could maintain (which I consider to be a very quiet lifestyle).
People always evolve, and how I am thankful for that, so throughout these years I think I have managed to identify with several animals until I conclude today that I must definitely be very attached to cats (or at least I feel that way). Apart from loving them and finding them really fascinating animals, what manages to connect me with them is their ability to generate their own autonomy, independence, the fact that they demand respect to maintain their space, but at the same time they also seek to share with you (even if only a little). Before, when I was a teenager, I suffered a lot of dependence on people, no matter if it was family, friends or a couple, today I have managed to build in me that emancipation I needed so much, the detachment, the love from freedom, always respecting my limits and watching over my mental health. I have managed to form myself as a person who builds his path without depending on the decisions of others.
Just like them, I've never really had a cat as a pet, but life has allowed me to study them and get to know them countless times and, in short, the admiration I have for them for the simple fact that they are never going to depend on you is gigantic, they are there for you, they love you, but that doesn't mean that they are going to tie themselves to your life with dependence. Shouldn't we all feel this way?
Besides, you cannot deny me that they are highly intelligent, beautiful and majestic animals.
Ah, cada vez me gustan más las preguntas del concurso porque te dejan pensando por días en busca de alguna respuesta. ¿Con cuál animal podría describirme e identificarme? Pues bien, os voy a contar una pequeña anécdota, cuando estaba pequeña estaba realmente obsesionada con los pandas, solía decir que era una de ellos y de hecho, tengo una recopilación de fotos mías usando gorritos, camisas y disfraces de panda hasta más no poder, pero al crecer me fui dando cuenta de que sólo era mi animal favorito para ese entonces, realmente mi personalidad no compaginaba con el estilo de vida que podría mantener un panda (que considero que es un estilo de vida muy tranquilo).
Las personas siempre evolucionamos, y cómo doy gracias por ello, así que a lo largo de estos años creo que he logrado identificarme con varios animales hasta concluir a día de hoy, que definitivamente debo estar muy vinculada a los gatos (o por lo menos eso siento). Muy aparte de amarlos y de parecerme unos animales realmente fascinantes, lo que logra conectarme con ellos es su capacidad de engendrar su propia autonomía, independencia, el hecho de que exigen respeto para mantener su espacio, pero a la vez también buscan de compartir junto a ti (aunque sea sólo un poco). Antes, cuando era adolescente, sufría mucho de dependencia hacía las personas, sin importar que fuese familia, amigos o pareja, hoy he logrado construir en mí esa emancipación que tanto necesitaba, el desapego, el querer desde la libertad, respetando siempre mis límites y velando por mi salud mental. He logrado formarme como una persona que construye su camino sin depender de las decisiones de otros.
Tal cual ellos, realmente nunca he tenido como mascota a un gato pero la vida si me ha permitido estudiarlos y familiarizarme con ellos una cantidad de veces incontables y, en definitiva la admiración que tengo hacía ellos por el simple hecho de que jamás van a depender de ti es gigantesca, están para ti, te aman, pero no por ello van a amarrarse a tu vida con dependencia. ¿No deberíamos de todos sentirnos así?
Además, no pueden negarme de que son animales altamente inteligentes, preciosos y majestuosos.

Tampoco he tenido un gato de mascota, pero me gustaría para conocerlos más.🐱 Comparto tu percepción de que son seres independientes con esa maestría en amar desde la libertad. Completamente, mis vecinas tienen dos gatas las cuáles se pasean por todo el edificio como si fuesen las dueñas, pero jamás se alejan tanto de su casa, es maravilloso verlas por las mañanas. 😻
