Ladies of Hive Community Contest #39 "MY FRIEND EATS MANGOES"

Sin esperarlo los dueños decidieron dejarnos a Tango, porque les estaba dañando algunos de sus muebles y el espacio se reducía para su disfrute, todos felices en casa, en una semana Tango era dueño de todo el territorio, el patio de la casa, era todo para él, sobre todo un árbol de mangos manzanos, de los cuales disfrutaba comerlos hasta no dejar nada de pulpa en la semilla del mango.

Without waiting for it the owners decided to leave Tango with us, because he was damaging some of their furniture and the space was reduced for his enjoyment, everyone was happy at home, in a week Tango was the owner of the whole territory, the patio of the house, it was all for him, especially a mango tree, which he enjoyed eating until there was no pulp left in the mango seed.

La verdad no sabia que los perros comían mango y menos que dejaban esa semilla sin nada de pulpa, está ese dia que limpiaba el jardín hay estaban ¡5 pepas de mango! bien peladas, yo imaginaba que alguien había entrado a la casa y se había comido todos esos mangos, algo preocupada comente a mi esposo del acontecimiento y decidimos estar pendiente por si alguien visitaba nuestro jardín sin darnos cuenta.

The truth is I didn't know that dogs ate mangoes and even less that they left that seed without any pulp, that day when I was cleaning the garden there were 5 mango seeds! well peeled, I imagined that someone had entered the house and had eaten all those mangoes, a little worried I told my husband about the event and we decided to be alert in case someone visited our garden without realizing it.

Y sorpresa, un día mientras cocinaba, abrí la ventana de la cocina que daba al patio trasero y ¡mira pues! hay estaba mi Tango, con tremendo mango, recostado, con sus piernas delanteras sosteniendo el mango y disfrutando a plenitud, misterio resuelto, no era un ladrón era mi perro come mangos.

And surprise, one day while I was cooking, I opened the kitchen window to the backyard and look! there was my Tango, with a tremendous mango, lying down, with his front legs holding the mango and enjoying it to the fullest, mystery solved, he was not a thief, he was my mango eating dog.

Hace 4 años que Tango ya no está con nosotros, fue una perdida muy lamentable y dolorosa para todos nosotros, aun mas cuando su diagnóstico era envenenamiento, solo Dios sabe quién lo hizo, mis hijos mayores aún lo extrañan sobre todo mi hijo hector quien solía, bañarlo, peinarlo, jugar a la pelota, enterrar objetos en el jardín y hasta comer galletitas de perros juntos, era nuestro mejor y fiel amigo.

It has been 4 years since Tango is no longer with us, it was a very sad and painful loss for all of us, even more when his diagnosis was poisoning, only God knows who did it, my older children still miss him especially my son Hector who used to bathe him, comb his hair, play ball, bury objects in the garden and even eat dog cookies together, he was our best and faithful friend.
