That squash did not stand a chance!

Hadn't heard the term "Victory Garden" before so had to look it up. I'll have to make sure our new house has room for one.

PS - Good luck with the contest. It's another kick ass post from you so you'd get my vote (if only it was worth something :p)

Victory Garden, I believe was a term used by the English people in the World War to grow a patch of vegetables, no matter how modest it may be, as part of the war effort, whether it was consumed by the grower or donated to others as food supplies were sporadic in time of war.
I like to use old anachronistic words and terms in my writing as it gives it a dated feel and cultural context.

🍅 Why stop at Squash when there's pizza to slice! 🍕
Top is "Fluffy" my 40" Battle Katana for the extra-Large Pizzas over 22" while,
Bottom is "Shorty" my 30" Wakizashi for smaller Pizzas under 22" diameter.

"Hey Mr Pizza Delivery driver, I didn't give you your Tip!" 💲
