Overcome the fear of rejection!

Fear of rejection is real. From our early childhood to now we all have faced that in many ways. It's actually pretty normal to be fearful thinking people will not accept us. The root is 'acceptance'. We seek acceptance from family, friends, workplace, and society. But if your next move depends on whether you get rejection or acceptance then you must reevaluate your way of life.

  • First we have to understand that we have nothing to do if someone rejects us. Yeah, in a job interview you can give your 100%. But don't you think even doing that you may get rejected. Because we can't control everything. So, blaming ourselves on the basis of this is very wrong. If we come out from the 'blaming' we will gradually get less fearful.

  • Second but most important thing is believing that, 'this is not the end of anything'. You never know what you are expecting badly will be good for you in the future or not. So, it's better to let it go and move on. Our life is bigger than any rejection and actually rejection opens up many doors of opportunity.

  • Third is accepting the 'stereotyping'. You broke up so what people will say about you. You find;t get the job so you become a failure. Stop thinking and supporting this stereotype mindset. One failure can't define what we are and what we can do. Don't make yourself a slave of this thinking.

I believe, there's nothing big than accepting what's happening and move on. Once you accept everything, you will feel less fear for sure. It's actually our call what to choose. We can desire something too bad and make us fragile if we don't get that. Or we can make us brave enough to move on and embrace everything.
