Question Of The Week Season 6 #2: Stress Busting! - Cooking to find peace!

(Edited)

Mental health is as important as your physical health. Unfortunately, lot of us don't realise its importance and fail to understand when it's in a bad state. We sometimes also tend to ignore a poor state of mind thinking of it as mood swings or just a phase which will pass. But a poor mental health can be really dangerous and can have severe consequences.

Keeping yourself stress free is the key to a good mental health. Each one of use have our own problems and stress and we all may have different ways to get rid of it. For me, Kitchen is my place and cooking is my thing.

Cooking is not only my hobby, but cooking is something which defines who i am as a person. Cooking makes me happy, i cook as per my moods. If i am happy, i like to cook a desert. If i am sad, I prefer making some soothing beverage. If i am excited and all cheered up, it has to be a new and unique recipe from the YouTube, something i've never tried before.

I recently moved to my new place and all i wanted was my kitchen to look perfect. I chose a modular kitchen with all white interiors, lot of lightening, modern applicances and offcourse, fresh air. I designed my kitchen all by myself.

My heart beats for cooking

I love to cook and I have been doing this since I was 12. I also have it as a future plan to open a nice, small, cosy restaurant where I would be the key chef playing around with different ingredients.

And for the love of cooking, I love watching master chef series as well..

Guys, I want to say that we should find our stress busting activities. These may be different for different people but it's very important to have one to get rid of all the stress that comes along in our lives.

This is a question from @ecotrain by the way. Here's the link,

Cooking itself is stressful for a lot of people but if you are passionate about cooking it is a real stress buster.
