My Baby's 1st Holi
Holi is one of the biggest festivals celebrated in India; in fact now across the globe. People use colors (Gulaal) to play Holi, rub colors on each other, play with water balloons and eat ghujiya (Holi special sweet).
Holi marks the onset of the summer season in India; they say there are no winters after Holi. The vibrant colors make it such a joyous festival.
It was the 1st holi of my newborn, RAAG. So it was all the more special for us. Although corona screwed it a bit yet we managed to have a lot of fun. We got pink and yellow colored herbal gulal, water balloons for Raag, pichkari (water throwing device). Even though he is too young to play with all these things, we thought its his 1st and we must do it.
Sharing some of the pictures from that day!
