I was real worried about these plants, they have not fared all that well until now. But with flowers I am hopeful they are doing better. Maybe we will even get some berries.

I had no idea what the flowers would look like. And I'm suprised to find them so small but with long anthers. The color of the petals are a deep purple and the anthers are white.

I also see new leaves forming, which is a relief because it has not formed any since planting many months ago. Just the old leaves stayed attached and slowly yellowed. Now theres fresh green leaves I think it can now produce enough energy to store through the winter.

The Jasmine vine behind it is trying to get a hold of the Goji Berry plant. So I moved it aside so it wont interfere.

The Sweet Potato Vines are flowering as well. Only one flower but good to see. 20200810_091547.jpg

I got these flowers last year as well when the vine was about half way through the year. Glad to see many of the fruit and vegetables flowering around me.

If you had enough shared it I wouldn't be able to like it so thank you so very much.

I really appreciate it.

Sometimes being able to enjoy something as simple as a plant growing a berry is pretty epic.

When the Goji plants take off you're going to need a lot of pollinators. You may need to relocate one of your honeybee hives to your back yard eventually.

Ah good to know. I hope it grows up to produce many flowers. Hah yeah..But for now I'll have to depend on the solitary bees.
