Wild onions & wild thoughts 🎉

Just a quick one to express my excitement at seeing HIVE double in value during the early hours of yesterday morning, up from $0.50 to $1. At least for one moment ;)

Have you noticed how Justin Sun pumps STEEM whenever HIVE moves ahead? His ego does not let us overtake him for long. Just for five hours HIVE was higher in value than STEEM, but this morning the lead is back to how he prefers it.

I had recommended HIVE as an investment to a few people over the last few weeks so they will be smiling now too. It is evident to me this is the largest & most vibrant crypto community on earth. While STEEM is for those who are still playing catch-up, or for those like myself who are hoping to catch some (very like manipulated) price action in order to clear out my accounts once and for all before abandoning them.

My wild thoughts are something along the lines of this:

STEEM saw a x53 increase from its lows during the last bull run so there is a good chance we can expect something similar (at the very least) from HIVE during this more mainstream bull run at a time when people are waking to the censorship of centralised social media.

How does a $50 HIVE price sound to you? Yeah... me too :)

I mentioned onions because I found some yesterday! Wild spring onions.

IMG_4564.jpg

See that little clump of green down in the leaves?
IMG_4565.jpg

Pull them up and this is what you will find.

IMG_4567.jpg

I was on my way to the garden at the time, to say a quick hello after a week of sunny weather.

IMG_4555.jpg

The peas are doing so great I couldn't help but to pick some.

IMG_4559.jpg

I know they are not ready yet but I love to eat them whole when they are young like this.

The cherry trees are in full bloom now so I gave them a load of water to assist with their fruit production. I must remove some of that ivy too! Before it takes over the tree.

Went home with this lot, to add to my lunch.

Not before enjoying a few peaceful moments in this seat.

Love & Light everyone 🌱

Looks beautiful! Those wild onions made my mouth water! I used to have some here, but the last few years, none have come up.

Maybe somebody ate them?

Perhaps after a year or two they will multiply and be plentiful again :)

It's been two or three years now since I've seen any, and it wasn't a terribly large patch to begin with. If I do find some more, I'm going to take care to make them very happy!

They are amazing hey. Picked some more today ;)

Thanks for the thought... I will be sure not to pick too many and hopefully see them next year.

And I thought you had disappeared into the forest

Hive could be waking up now

The forest days are not far away but for now we are still village dwellers. I have been doing a trading course for the last month, keeping my head down & working hard to master a new skill.

Exciting times for hive... :)

Ohh peas already! You're in Spain? My peas won't come up. Maybe the frost got them, who knows?
I hear there are thousands of species of plants that have bulbs similar to onion. I notice sometimes when gardening, even weeds often have bulbs that smell just like garlic or onion. I'd probably be happy to try them all... big fan :)

Technically we are in France but Spain isn't far, on the other side of the Pyrenees, a few hours walk from here. This will be useful if we ever need to escape the county undetected.

We've had some great weather recently which I think has helped the peas along!

As for the onions I cannot honestly say I know them to be spring onions, but they certainly taste good :)

If it tastes good and doesn't make you sick, then it's food! :D
Wow, France. Sorry I don't know of your background. Is there a post or video I can watch to get to know you better, or do you not mind the occasional question? :)
Never been to Europe, myself. The French/Spanish border region sounds incredible. My wife speaks pretty good French, although she may be getting rusty without anyone to practice with lately. She has decent Spanish skill as well. I'm not very good with either, and learn a lot slower. But I'd be willing to keep trying!
I'm hoping for a migrant caravan from Canada to Europe. Hey, they seem to do them INTO Canada (and the USA) quite often! Why not OUT of Canada, too? I have a friend in Montenegro who has invited me to visit, and maybe even build on his land with him, but getting there is a major issue now. Even before this, I didn't fly, because of the body scanners and patdowns. Sometimes it feels like the world is getting smaller because I limit myself by having morals and lines I will not cross. But without principles, what good is life anyway? I keep hoping for a break in all the tyranny.

A few years back I made a film as a way of better introducing myself and warning people to prepare for these testing times we are now experiencing. Perhaps you might find it interesting?

Certainly they will not make it easy for people like us to travel but we will still find ways. Especially those of us who move in decentralised circles ;)

Montenegro sounds great! Here's to your European dream. In the same way there will be bars & restaurants which will cater only for the unvaccinated I imagine there will be airlines too.

Thanks for that link :)
You're very well spoken. I shouldn't be surprised, because you write well.
What an interesting story!
I believe I'm the guy who bought your STEEM at $8. My crypto story began in 2011, and I introduced a lot of people to Bitcoin back then. Many of them are doing very well today. I told you before that I don't trade, so I've watched the whole thing with interest. When I moved my savings into STEEM at the top, everybody said it was going above $10 and beyond, congratulated me for powering up, and loved my 25 cent upvotes. I worked DAILY, sometimes many hours, and saw my upvote gradually drop to 3 cents at the low a few months ago. Now I'm back in the 25 cent range, meaning my crypto net worth is somewhere around where it was when I first began on this chain, 4 years ago. 4 years of holding a bag AND working almost full time for free. Woops! But the good news is, if things keep going well, suddenly I'll look really smart for grinding through the tough years, accumulating massive amounts when it was cheap. We'll see!
Your photography skills are outstanding! Great footage. Wow, to have access to your hard drive!
If you don't mind me asking, is this your recommended starting point, on the topic of humans being here longer than conventional history claims? My wife has been interested in that for a while and doing some research. I value your take on things so I'm curious what your current take is. (Also, home made water filtration?) Thank you very much, and have a great weekend.

I have a very similar story for most of my bags. Bought loads of different coins with that steem I sold and then watched it all disappear in the long bear market. It was a tough lesson but an important one. Now we are much more prepared for the inevitable drop which will come eventually! Likely at the end of this year I would say. Right about the time when everyone starts talking about bitcoin going up forever ;)

Reading through that article you linked it is amazing to me how much my knowledge has expanded since I wrote it but yes, this is as good a starting place as any, with lots of different rabbit holes to follow. Your wife is wise to look into this as I don't think there is anything more important than understanding who we really are. Only in this way can we become who we were meant to be!

In recent months I have been looking at Star Forts & Star Cities. Perpignan is our nearest city and you can see from this image how beautiful it once was.

Perpignan-.-Fortifed-town-city-plan.-Pyr-n-es-Orientales.-DE-FER-1705-map-355681-p.jpg

All major cities show evidence of being built on these stars. They tell us it was for defensive purposes but they don't tell us how it is that every country in the world has hundreds of them built in exactly the same style and in many cases there is clear evidence that humans had to knock down a section of the wall to gain entrance to their star before building on it. Seems a lot like the stars were not built by humans. At least not by humans of the size we are accustomed to.

Now I am at the point where I don't think these stars were built at all, but rather grew. At a time when things were very different here. Humans came later and built on them, very often using the huge amount of "stone" under their feet to create the city.

Here is a recent video collaboration of two youtubers I follow, both of whom your wife will likely find interesting. They are not much good at presenting their videos but the content is fascinating.

For the water filtration I saw people doing it in Indonesia a few years back. We've not tried it here yet because we currently live next to a fresh water source but once we are set up on our own land, this is certainly on the list of things to do.

This chap gives a decent breakdown of the basics behind it:

Cat is happy because the rise of crypto has led me to buy a more comfortable office seat which permits her to sit more comfortably in my lap ;)

The funniest part is that Justin Sun has made sure steem is well ahead of us again, now over $1. If I was a trader (which I am!) I could literally make trades based on his ego ;)

Haha - that's funny - but I got rid of my steem a long time ago. How does he manipulate the price?
