RE: The horrible morals of humanity

You are viewing a single comment's thread:

I go back and repeat, it is called the food chain, it is not murder, it is the natural order.
If dinosaurs existed and ate people, would you claim their right to life and would they change? like a tiger with a deer ...
I have never killed an animal but I love chicken, that does not make me the worst person as you say, I have seen many cases as children of vegan parents who die from denying reality.
You should not insult people who are not vegan, we just do not think the same, and that is not bad, it is bad that I insult you and you insult me.
You didn't answer the questions I asked in the previous comment either.
I could accept your idea of not killing animals a bit but for hunting, it makes no sense to hunt for sport.
Look at the movie avatar, look when they hunt an animal, it's a great way of thinking that they gave to those characters.

There is nothing natural about our current meat consumption. You can try to drag wild animals into this conversation, but you and I both know humans don't live like wild animals do. Humans are able to think about consequences for their actions and our decision to eat meat isn't based on a decision between life or death. Humans have plenty of available alternatives. I can see you want to stick your head in the sand to justify eating dead animals, but the fact is that you pay people to kill other living beings for a moment of sensory pleasure. You don't need animal products to live a healthy life, you should eat plant-based if you want to live a healthy life.

It is bad to unnecessarily kill other living beings. Them not being able to call you out on it just makes it easier for you to ignore it. Other humans calling you out on it might be seen as a nuisance, but I do wonder why you are trying to defend an industry that represents so much violence, abuse and death. You could just tell me you're not strong or flexible enough to change your ways and leave it at that, but for some reason, you're advocating for more pain. Just tell me how you justify this, when you can just as easily walk into the store to buy beans, nuts or mushrooms, instead of a pre-packaged, pre-murdered, dead animal.

If you want answers to your questions, you should have read my post. They are all in there. You haven't read it all, otherwise you wouldn't have called me vegan.

Oh and by the way, I have no intention of insulting people who aren't vegan perse. I know the industry likes to hide the dirty truth and most people grow up with a diet filled with animal products, all while hearing the lies that it is healthy. I do, however, judge people who have learned the truth about these things and still refuse to change. I don't care how long it takes you to change, as long as you make the decision to move towards a future with less violence and death. As long as you start making steps towards a life where you don't support these industries.

As for trying to poke holes in my lifestyle: What if I was someone who ate a whole pig each and every day? Kicked my non-existing dog every chance I got? Flew over the world and back every darn weekend? That would just make me a bad person, it would make no difference in the classification of right and wrong. Paying people to kill other living being for a moment of sensory pleasure would still be bad. Kicking dogs would still be bad. Flying excessively would still be bad. I am not a posterchild for good behaviour, nor am I a saint. We are all responsible for our own behaviour. Pointing at others doesn't let you off the hook.

We cannot live without using any natural resources. No one can. We should still try the best we can to live in harmony with our one and only home and try not to hurt others we share this planet with. I know I am trying to do this and learning along the way. Are you?

Of course I read it, you are the one who did not read my questions.
Anyway, I do it because I like to eat meat.
Someone who eats a pig every day does not last a month alive.
I also eat salads, grains, pasta ... and as I said before, everything in excess is bad, even the water.
That is the reality, is it cruel? Yes, like the lion eating a deer, it is natural and cruel, but things are like that, it's okay that you don't like it, but don't label people like me as violent and everything you say.
This topic also reminds me of guinea pigs, now we will have to kill sick people to start the tests of new drugs, because it is cruel to animals, but isn't killing sick people more so?
In the end, this is the world, and the more they want to "improve" it, things only get worse, I mean that of privileges to the minorities and sending to hell with the majority is silly. I have always thought that the United States has problems of racism because calling a black man is a crime or insulting him, it is stupid, if it is a crime, it should be for everyone; And they all grow up with that nonsense in their heads.
Well I deviated from the topic, but are some of the things that I think about what the hell is wrong with the world?

I agree with you that there's a lot wrong in this world. I also know there's little you or I can do to right most of these wrongs, although we should aim to be a good example. There is one thing we can easily do though: stop supporting animal cruelty. It would mean working towards less pain, less violence, and less of a strain on this world's natural resources.

You keep telling me I can't say bad things about meat eaters, but the fact is that meat eaters pay others to abuse and kill sentient beings. So once they are made aware of the cruelty that goes on inside the meat and dairy industry and they still don't decide to take steps towards a more plant-based diet, you'd better believe I will judge them and blame them for all of the pain and suffering they continue to support.

We abuse some of the most kind and peaceful creatures for our own sensory pleasures, because they give us the least amount of resistance. Because it's easiest and most profitable. Try finding people crazy enough to work on a lion dairy farm. They will SHOW you how wrong you're being. We lord over these kind, sweet animals, hurting them when it is not even necessary. When plenty of alternatives are as readily available as their dead bodies. We take the only life they will ever have for a few moments of pleasure. Because we 'like to eat meat'. Stop defending this. This is one of those things that is wrong in this world. It is not 'normal', it's just a habit we need to break.

But it is as normal as a lion hunting its prey, it is normal me friend, it is cruel and normal. it's fair? It is not, just like life. I fully understand your point, but I do not support it, I do not want to change that in my life, it is one of the few things that makes me feel good in this shitty part of the world where I live.
I hope you can change your world enough to make it better for you and your people.
despite disagreeing, I liked this discussion ✌️
