Glass Half Empty or Half Full?

Everyone has a perspective about life and what it takes to live it. However the perspective how how one perceive their life can be defined between one of two options. They are either seeing the glass half empty or they are seeing the glass half full.

Empty or Full?

A person that sees the glass half empty will for the most part be pessimistic when it comes to their perceived world. For they originally believe they have a full cup and always wanting more kind of feeling for seeing the emptiness in the cup. This can be broadly explained as feeling a sense of regret for not keeping the full cup. Or even worse feel resentful towards the world since he/she no longer has the full cup.

On the opposite side is a person who sees the cup half full. In this perspective the person sees the opportunities they have to fill the cup to full as they now reach half full. In this perspective they are optimists as they feel ambitious to finishing a full cup. In addition they likely do not have regret whether the cup was originally full as they know at this point in life they are only looking toward filling the cup to full.

Choice Your Side

Now that you know the difference between a half full cup person versus a half empty cup person which side would you want to pick?

The answer really is to see the cup as half full. There is more to life than just filling the cup. As much as there is more to life than just making money or earning assets. The end goals that a person has should always be optimistic toward reaching them as they will face a lot of challenges and hurdles along the way. Being optimistic and having hope that they will succeed gives them the strength to move pass all the challenges. The next time you see a cup that is not full, just remember that the cup is ready to be filled to the fullest.
