Being young makes you feel you have more opportuinities, you feel the world at your feet, you're not aged one bit, you're enjoying the youthfulness that comes with your age. At probably 18 to 25 many people are so spoilt for choices this blinds them to the fact that time can be fleeting, the illusion that one needs to be patient and make the best decisions for their lives has probably left so many people undecisive and unresolved for a really long peroid of time.

This majorly happens with girls especially in my society. Most of them wants to either get a career, or have men take care of their need, they either want to be beautiful or dutiful. They consider being the two a very tasking responsibility. At 20, a young girls begins to get their world rocked by romantic proposals.

This stage of their life is where they should build a personality, achieve their dreams and estol good virtues but then it clashes with romance, some of them loses their aim and their resolve and a lot of them gets caught in the moment, loses their way and boom! They're caught up with an abusive man in a toxic relationship with probably a pregnancy and no means to go back to the dreams they have abandoned.

The moment when some people feel they're the center of attraction is where they're actually most vulnerable, if you're caught up in the illusion of having a perfect future due to the fact that you feel you have so many alluring opportuinities, chances are you'll have more difficulties making a choice because it is often difficult to make a Choice especially when it comes to what you want or desire or what you truly need.

Being young and clueless can be dangerous this is because one's youthful times are the period where most of the parameters concerning their future is set, this isn't entirely true but seldom true.

There's no time in the life of a person and this is because every stage in one's life comes with a responsibility and when a person carries a responsibility or obligation from one stage of their life to another it becomes a burden, one's life become confusing, this is because people underate freedom, they feel it'll be there throughout their lives and they waste it making the wrong calls or sitting on their hands. The illusion that there's time is why time itself is lost inadvertently, life is really short and it can even feel shorter when a person fails to live a fufilled life.

Nevertheless, there's nothing wrong with being stupid while young, I only feel the world is now an archive of experience and there's now a short cut to being "less stupid" inasmuch as life feels more organic when people pass through these experiences it doesn't mean we have all the time to dwell mindlessly on our hands taking the wrong turn at every direction.

While we are looking to learn to become refined through diverse experience, we can always chose to do things rather differently instead of following the herd. Sometimes I use to feel I grew old rather quickly, I use to wonder what I was doing while I was in late teenage, I was wondering how I just let time slip up and took me unawares and till date, it still haunts me.

This is an evidence that the clock is ticking faster than we even know it, one can be young and in just a moment that youthful energy seems to go away and before you begin to recollect it feels like you have been busy doing nothing. In life our lives deserves more meaning and it is only through the tough choices we make that this can become a reality.

It is difficult to stay focused, while many people has the opportunity to retrace their footsteps, a lot more people would not. This is why I always say that there's nothing wrong with doing the "right things" earlier on in life, having the opportunity to do better hardly comes by, so many people wants to do better but the right opportunity and the right conditioning isn't really there. I see a lot of young people with the opportunity to do better but they're caught up with indicisiveness and the illusion of a long life ahead of them and this can be very deceptive.
