Depression is BAD - Tips to FIGHT Depression The Natural WAY...

This Pandemic has brought a lot of trouble in most people's lives. We all are facing some sort of problems and there are people who are depressed as well. Depression is BAD; we all know it. The best way out it to fight Depression in naturally and we as humans can do it we our powerful brain and by following simple tips and tricks.

These days slowly and steadily things are getting worse. Seems like god has decided to teach us "Humans" a lesson and remind us that the earth is very beautiful and abundant without you. You are the ones who are making everything so dirty and miserable. Unfortunately, I accept that we needed this lesson.

It has become so disheartening these days to see young actors and actresses here in India taking extreme steps, like suicide. If you guys (the actor/actress who chose to suicide) are reading this let me read it loud and clear to you... "You are the ones we looked your achievements of us were inspired by your achievements, some of us probably were eyeing your place". But alas!! you chose Suicide.

I have to let all my readers know that yes!! times are tough, Yes!! we all are in a scenario which we have never imagined, but does this mean we should give up!! NO!! we are from the "HUMAN" race and we are the survivors from centuries we are the "Winners" the "Non-quitters" please make sure that we set a truly inspiring story for our future generation. Let them know that we were the ones who were able to cope up with this pandemic and are not quitters.

In today's article, I wish to share some of the pointers which we should keep in mind during this pandemic and keep anything sort of depression at bay!!

1: Exercise Daily:

Especially during these challenging times, make sure that you are exercising daily. Studies have shown that people who exercise regularly are less depressed. Because exercise helps our body to release the feel-good chemical also known as endorphins. Exercising will help you be in perspective, understand things better, and have a better and clear picture of what is going around.

If you were to take my suggestion then try doing Yoga. I'm doing Yoga daily and to be very frank when I miss doing Yoga my day doesn't go smooth. So the mantra here is to do workout daily. May it be cycling, swimming or simple exercise do it daily without fail. I feel doing exercises brings your body and mind together. As it rightly said the YOGA is the union of mind and body and when this happens there is no way out a person will feel depressed in his or her life.

2: Try to Meditate & Make Meditation Your Best Friend

As we are all stuck at home, cannot go out and this makes our mind think of all sorts of things. It becomes difficult for us to differentiate between good and bad thoughts. I have seen my near and dear ones thinking about the same stuff in a loop and continuously getting depressed with these negative thoughts.

Try doing it for a month and you will start noticing positive things happening within and outside you. I have done it and have also felt the positive impact of it.

3: Daily Motivation::

This is a very important pointer, but highly underrated. People do not take time to boost themself up or to read a book or listen to a motivational podcast or video daily. Trust me even 5 minutes of daily motivation can help you in the long run.

It changes the whole day and at times just a little motivation helps you deal with humungous problems. try it out daily read a motivational book, or listen to a motivational speaker of your choice. Trust me!! You will feel better about the whole thing.

4: Negativity Be Cautious::

Yes!! You read that right. In today's times when everything is soo negative, reading stuff related to the virus, the clashes between the nations, the blaming game, the COVID numbers, number of layoffs happening around the world. All this is certain to hurt our brains.

No one can be saved from the rumors taking rounds and all the I know it all self-proclaimed gurus blabbering. Logged out from the social media sites for a few days and trust me, it is so relaxing.

Suddenly seems like everything is normal, life can be lead without social media. In fact, once you switch off that dam thing you start noticing the beauty around you. Life is short and we have very little time left to waste on social media. Logout for few hours a day and see the difference.

5: Eat Hot Healthy Meals:

When you are at home, try eating fresh, satvik home-cooked meals. Cut back on nonveg and opt for simple homemade food. Full of green vegetables and don’t forget to add loads of colorful fruits in your diet. Diet also plays a crucial role on our minds and health.

The Most Important thing!!

Are you feeling depressed today!! Guess what so am I :) You are not alone time is such that things get negative. But whenever I feel depressed I pick a paper and pencil and start counting my blessings. I Jot them out!! Writing things has a better impact on us than thinking.

Just that I make sure that daily I write new blessings. This simple exercise will help you stay positive. Last but not least stay positive and stay connected to your near and dear ones!!

You are strong & Very Precious & We only have ONE LIFE. So don't waste it being depressed. Just get up, count on your blessings, and start doing things you like doing and get away from negativity as much as possible. Follow any of the listed pointers you feel comfortable about and ensure that you follow them strictly for at least 45 days to see the changes happening around you. So say for example you think of meditating, then my sincere suggestion would be to give it a try for at least 45 days to see the best results.

Lets' FIGHT this Depression out and throw it far away from our precious LIFE...
