Just you watch you'll end up with a border jumping Rodrigo having hoofed it back to the property. If they can jump 3 feet they can probably pad out a couple of miles pretty quick. Might look at taking him a bit farther down the line... 😄

Wow! Okay, the border (as close as the road leads to it) is about five miles from here. If he manages to walk back to the property, dodging all the owls, snakes and coyotes, he'd surely deserve a prize. Such as being called Rodrigo la Rata, Roger the Dodger and the Lodger.
Lol! 5 miles might be a bit better and less chances of him coming back. You never know though, he may have an affinity for the place. If so then he is totally the property mascot.
