Wonderful! I'm dying to make pesto of my own. Just waiting for my little basil to finally give me enough, then I'll dive into these.
Hey, hubby loves parsley, I might as well try the parsley version... And, I have honestly not seen walnuts with their flesh still on until now. haha.

I found that if you force the basil to grow along the ground (sideways) it has better potential to bush out and ultimately produces more. I used to do this with my weed plants many moons ago! Turns out it also works with basil ;)
If I'm going to be honest with you, I only saw walnuts in their skins for the first time relatively recently when my mother moved to a house which had a tree in their garden. Strange looking things I remember thinking! But now we have two trees of our own, and I can see how valuable & important they are.
Have fun with the parsley. I guarantee you're gonna love it :)
