Choose Wisely

In one of the Indiana Jones films, the one in which Sean Connery was his father, I believe it was "The Last Crusade", both Indiana Jones and the film's antagonist had to make an almost impossible choice at the end. From a table full of cups they had to choose the one once possessed by Jesus Christ, the Holy Grail, to drink from; the antagonist chose poorly, and disintegrated before our eyes...

I'll mostly shut up in this post, and let the brilliant Cody from the YouTube channel Some More News do most of the talking. I've already written a lot of posts giving my opinion on the upcoming November general elections in America, and why I think voting is important, more important than ever before perhaps, and why a vote for Joe Biden is the only reasonable choice to make. Maybe it's harder to see when you're living in America, I don't know, but from the outside it sure looks like American society is at the brink of total disintegration. Mind you; that's not Trump's fault nor of the people who voted him into office. Trump's presidency is the result of a self-reinforcing system and culture that has politics drifting ever more to the right, and in fact it's the leftist political parties of the world who are primarily responsible for that one-directional move of the Overton window; they are the ones that stopped being representative of the worker-class and let the wealthy conservatives of the world push them in their preferred direction.

So, voting for Biden in my opinion isn't the right thing to do ideologically, it's literally a - perhaps futile - attempt to stop drifting so far to the right that we cross the barrier into fascist regions. In fact, voting for Biden is disgusting, as he represents a "return to normalcy", that is a return to the circumstances that made Trump in the first place. But as I see it, it's a choice of hitting that brake, or stepping on the gas-pedal toward the cliff. I'll let Cody do the rest of the talking...
