Home Alone is a series of post featuring me, @exavil. I am home alone currently because my family has gone to visit my grandparents so I am home alone. For more information see the post, Home Alone .

Overview

I spent time in watching cartoons and movies and awaited the internet to bring some joy in my life. I had to stay away from the internet for two days. I couldn't write posts of Day 4 and Day 5 because of no internet.

Day Experience

Here I am, still Home Alone. Well, when I said 48 hours without the internet, I meant 48 hours without the internet. We all are used to the word Internet, and we can't live without it these days. I tried, but I think that a person like me will get fried after five days or even less 😄.

So, what is on the internet that makes it so distinctive and so addictive. Well, all our activities are based on the internet. These mainly include watching videos, writings, trading, etc. Well, it wasn't the first time that I spend a day without the internet. But 48 hours of no internet that is equal to 2880 minutes that is equal to 172,800 seconds and when your clock starts ticking slowly and slowly making you count every second. I hope you can imagine it....

Rainstorms were the reason for no internet. As I said, this wasn't my first time without the internet. So, I pretty much knew what to do. The first thing that I tried in the time without the internet was to go outside and enjoy a while in physical activities. I went out to play, but the rainwater formed puddles everywhere. Such a pity that I couldn't even play some football.

I returned home and switched on the television to accompany myself. At least watching cartoons was better than going outside. I watched cartoons and some movies. I remember one of them, CLOVERFIELD, and others were animated movies. I spent time watching the clock and the television. I think watching cartoons for a while was a good idea, but when I started watching TV for a whole day, I realized how unamusing it becomes.

I awaited the internet to carry on my cyber liveliness. Some hours passed.... but still no sign of the internet. I read to keep myself amused, which was a good idea. I was reading the novel, Robinson Cruise. He was also alone, but he was living on an island while I am home alone. I thought I could get some help from the novel to keep myself amused perhaps I couldn’t perform those activities.

Alas, internet taps on the computer screen and the pages start reloading. It felt like getting together with social life again 😄. But my feelings at that time were pretty obvious as I was very glad at that time.
