The following images are my entries for the Love of Lizards contest.
My first entry is a cute little gecko photographed as it was drying off on the side of the aquarium after taking a swim in its water dish.
The little guy was feeling fresh and handsome as he posed for his photograph.

My second entry is of a large iguana I spotted and interrupted when trying to capture a photograph of it as the lizard sunbathed in the warm sun on a boat dock in the Cayman Islands.

One question. Were you scared?
Not at all - lizards are basically harmless! Geckos do a great job controlling insects in the ecosystem while iguanas are herbivores so no worries there from the vegan reptiles!
I once had a 4 foot long pregnant iguana placed on my shoulders by her owner at Mallory Square in Key West, Florida back in 1998. Now that was an unforgettable experience!🦎

Love lizards they have so much character that iguana is so beautiful 😊
Great shots and I love lizards Lady Nina.
We also have tons of them here in South Africa.
Oh, and we also have a small tribe of Dwarf Chameleons that breed here in a wild spot!

He is a tiny adult sitting in a Lavender bush!
Aw, that gecko is so cute and looks very pleased with himself. LOL! Now, about the iguana...not something that I would like to come across. Wonderful photos!
