Kumari Goddess

It is hard to imagine for a kid who is not allowed to play or talk even for an hour.

In Nepal, young girls may be chosen to become a Kumari Goddess and they can only get out of their sacred duty when they start to have their menstruation.

A chosen Kumari Goddess must never let her feet touch the ground and she can only talk to their immediate family.

As parents, we can easily see that the young girl would have lost her childhood because of their sacred duty to oversee everything as a deity.

A Kumari Goddess would not be able to play with kids of their age and she cannot even have her feet on the ground.
