Kindness And Love To A Grouchy Old Man

In this story, a grouchy old man, Walter, would visit a café but all the waitresses refused to serve him except for Melina Salazar.

She was patient and kind to him even with his unreasonable complaints for 16 years.

She knew that Walter was a lonely old man and wanted the attention.

With a small town, she was able to find out that Walter had been living without his wife and children for a long time.

One day, Walter stopped coming to the café and she found out later that he had passed away.

She was very sad about the death of the lonely old man.

The story ended with Walter leaving her $50 000, a car and his house through a lawyer in appreciation of her 16 years of serving and talking to him.

It is such an inspiring story that our kids can learn that kindness does pay even when they do not expect it.
