Independence And Self-Reliance

For most of us, we would get surprised with young kids without their parents walking on the streets.

In Japan, many kids were given tasks to train their independence and self-reliance from young.

We cannot imagine our children, who may be only 6 years old, go to school on their own as we may be concerned about their safety.

Different worries and negative thoughts like kidnapping and accidents can come rushing into our minds of imagination that can make us fearful.

Letting them go may be a way to let them grow more quickly.

It can be hard to let go but it is a matter of time that we need to let go so that they can become independent and face their future adulthood readily.

Independence and self-reliance are good friends to help our kids to survive in adulthood.
