The cat is a useful small domesticated animal. It is the only domesticated species in the family falidae and it is often referred to the domestic cat to distinguish it from the wild members of the family.
The belongs to the Animalia kingdom which makes them to belong to animal kingdom, phylum of chordata which means that they have backbone, class of mammalia, order of carnivora, family of felidae, genus of felis and finally of catus.

The cat is a four -footed domestic animal. It has two bright eyes which helps the cat to see in the dark, two eyes and a bushy tail. It is generally brown, white and black in colour. Their neck can be turn at 180°.

They like warm places to sleep in. It can climb tree very fast.
They have low maintenance that is they don't need special treatment and building of cage for them to live. Their food is also avoidable not like dog. They are quiet and they are independent that is they don't really need much attention. They hunt rodents in the house and keeping your house pest free.
