Nadya, as he is familiarly called. This woman who was born in Medan, August 17, 1999, has won many awards and achievements from the martial arts sport of taekwondo. Sports that he started doing since he was in the third grade of junior high school.

He has started to achieve achievements since he was in high school. Some of the achievements she has achieved include Second Place for Women Junior Under 52 in the Taekwondo Open Championship to win the Armed Battalion Commander Cup 2/105 KS in 2016, Second Place for Women Junior Under 55 kg in Medan City Student Sports Week (POPKOT) in 2017, and First Place Senior Kyorugi Putri Under 53 kg Bandung Taekwondo International Invitation 2017.

He did not stop there, he continued to make this achievement when he became a student of Marine Science at the Universitas Malikussaleh in 2018. The proof was that he succeeded in winning second place for Senior Kyorugi Putri Under 53 Pugnator Sport Tourism Taekwondo International Championship, at the end of 2019.

Apart from being an athlete, this girl whose full name is Nadya Miftah Madilla Lubis has also begun to develop herself as a trainer for athletes at the age group under 14 years. This was proven by getting an award as a female coach (coach) for the 2019 Pangkosekhanudnas III Taekwondo Championship and the 2020 Taekwondo Poomsae Championship 2020 women's coach to win the BNN Cup in North Sumatra Province.

The beginning of his liking for this martial arts sport was during junior high school. “At first I was interested because I saw his beautiful movements. After I started practicing, it turned out that I got other benefits, such as being able to communicate with many people who are involved in this sport, "said Nadya.

Getting achievements like now is not without struggle. There is a lot of sorrow when starting the practice. “The training process applied by my coach is so very disciplined that sometimes the body seems to be crushed. Not to mention, always under pressure of motivation so that the taekwondo in who practice can take care of each other's personality, both inside and outside the competition, "he said.

However, everything started to change when he started participating in championships and matches. Especially when you get a champion in a match that you are participating in, there is a new spirit that appears to return to the match.

"When participating in national and international championships, there is a sense of joy and excitement when you can compete with athletes from all corners of Indonesia and from other countries. There is motivation to continue to hone one's abilities so that they can be the best," continued Nadya.

This woman who also has a hobby of drawing has another achievement, namely as a poetry reader. He was a participant in the National Poetry Contest held by the Pemuda Pena Indonesia Community in 2019. Although he has not succeeded in becoming a winner, his participation in the event was also after eliminating several potential participants in the selection stage.

Nadya, who is currently in the sixth semester, has dreams and hopes of becoming a coach who can provide useful knowledge to build the younger generation through sports, especially taekwondo. [Riyandhi Praza]
