The Birth of a Leaf - Thursday Green Color Challenge

avatar

Hi folks!

It's Thursday again and I'm back with my conceptual series of publications on 'Green as a Source of Life'.

Today I realized why I am doing this - this is because lately (for a year and a half now) we have been and we are flooded every day with information, warnings and threats, related to death. Every day we are informed about how many people have died, how they have died, how you too will die if you do not do this and that, and if you do this and that.

Maybe that's enough for me, so I decided to start writing about life, to show life and its origin, even in this allegorical form. And I think everyone needs that now.

Am I not right?

So, today I want to show a baby banana leaf - in my opinion, another personification of life.

For one reason or another, the banana tree in our garden has problems with its growth every year. And instead of looking like this at this time of year:

it looks like this:

Perhaps that is why the birth and unfolding of each leaf on this 'tree' brings joy and amazement.

Because regardless of climatic conditions, and circumstances in general, it fights nature and continues to live. Life always goes on.

And it's beautiful.

Have you ever wondered if the 'birth' in the plant world is as painful and ... unsightly as in the human and animal one?

IMG_20210722_152252.jpg

I can remember the horror I experienced when our cat gave birth in the yard - she had given birth to the first kitten and was walking around bloodied, carrying the placenta with her. And I didn't know how to help her.

But here, in the plant kingdom, everything is arranged, perfect and symmetrical. There are no mistakes here. Everything is calm, peaceful, quiet and... beautiful.

Nowadays, this blog no longer exists, but I'm still here - passionate about architecture, art and mysteries and eager to share my discoveries and point of view with you.
