Photos of a Cherub

Hello everyone. It is appropriate to remember those photos that left certain colors marked in our minds.

Sometimes, the scenarios are dominated by a tone and that makes that shade take relevance over a certain color. If we add to this the human element, we create a graphic identity.

The color involved in this occasion is yellow. The cherub's hair, his eyes, plus the tone of the midday sun and the grass, painted a faint golden yellow to the whole environment.

I remember some pictures I took after finishing a photo shoot with a model. As we were about to board the car, we were met by a charming, bright-eyed boy, about 4 years old.

He had come out of a nearby house where I had parked my car. It was a house that was not near another house. We thought no one was home.

The little fellow was very shy. He didn't say a word, but just stared at us. Soon his sister went out to get him to come back into the house.

I did not know his name. I talked to the boy's sister, who was an adult, so that she would give me an e-mail address to send her these photos as souvenirs, but she did not want to.

In my country, Venezuela, crime and multiple scams make us doubt everything and everyone.

I thanked him for allowing us to park in that place and went on my way. That day I got good photos of my sessions and I also took these photos that I like very much.

A year has passed since that moment. Surely the boy is taller and handsome.

A few months ago I uploaded to my 3speak channel a video of how I make a grayscale of one of these photos.

what strikes me is the sadness in the child's eyes.

but he was not sad, although it seemed so. The boy was astonished, it was a very remote place, I think he was not used to see many people around. God Day
