Welcome back everyone. Today's color is Red. That means it's Monday, and I have an assortment of images to share with you for my participation in the daily Color Challenge by @kalemandra.

Red is such a dynamic color with numerous hues to choose from. I love the dark color of burgundy as a design choice. It pairs well with black and white. You can find the color red almost everywhere you look. This true, especially true in nature.

I have some photos and digital drawings I want to share.

Participation in the Color Challenge by @kalemandra from the Color Challenge Community is easy. All you have to do is post your photos, digital images, or personal drawings in the Community. You are allowed to post images twice a day that represent the assigned colors for each day of the week.

On the Community page, you'll find the different colors that match each day of the week.

In addition to photographs I capture with my cameras, I also love to design digital images with online digital drawing programs.

PHOTOGRAPHS CAPTURED WITH MY CAMERA

Recently on my day out, I was able to capture some amazing cloud patterns. I happened to snap my camera just as I was riding by a station for cars and trucks to refuel. However, it's primarily for large rigs that are allowed to anchor their to rest.

I first became aware of this service station named LOVE's when we needed to take a break from driving and rest. We were allowed to do so in the midst of big rigs on each side of us. It was a totally unnerving experience as the noise from the big rigs lasted all night.

However, we were happy to learn that they also provided a dumping station for RVs for a $10 fee. Now this place is our best friend while traveling. Just knowing the various services are available makes traveling at night a relief. The bright red colors of the sign makes it easy to recognize from a distance. The image of the LOVE's station is also shown above in my thumbnail image.

The photo shows the worsening weather as we were returning home. Unfortunately, we were caught in a storm the closer we got to the city.

APOPHYSIS 2.09

The first program I'm presenting is Apophysis 2.09 Fractal Rendering. This program creates fractals. If you remember, a fractal is an image created utilizing mathematical coordinates. The program uses a grid that contains triangles for your use in maneuvering the coordinates. By moving the coordinates to different locations, you'll create numerous images. Once you decide on a particular image, you can stop. Next, you'll save your image. The flames are what produces the images. You need to render the flames in order to save the image.

I created this beautiful fractal in a maroon color. The shape of the image looks like a cone. More than that, it resembles a cyclone. I enjoyed creating this fractal. I experimented with several colors. However, the combination of maroon and jade looked at first clashing; then complimentary.

Bomomo

The second program I like to use is Bomomo. It allows you to create awesome abstract images. The unique drawing tools are fun to work with. You never know which color or pattern within each tool the program will draw. Each tool provides a set of specific patterns with varying colors that change on different moves. Grasping control of the tools takes time and practice. If you like drawing abstract images that include circles, diagrams, hexagons, and numerous other patterns, then you'll like this program.

I'm improving my control over the tools a bit. The images I design doesn't look as ragged, but still can be defined as abstract, just not so wild looking.

Nvidia Gaugan AI Digital Drawing Program

The third program I use weekly is Nvidia Gaugan AI Digital Drawing. It's an online digital drawing program that utilizes a blank canvas. On the canvas, you produce images by entering brushstrokes. The brushstrokes represent features such as buildings, houses, mountains, fog, rivers, trees, the sky, water, clouds, rocks, and flowers. These are only a few of the features at your disposal. The program is free to use.
