This is a weird film I just finished on Netflix, starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

The plot and the whole way the movie is staged is pretty interesting and to be fair I didn't hate it. But I didn't love it either. One thing is for sure, I will remember it's existence after a couple of years. I also enjoyed the plot twist in the end :)

I have a feeling some people may love it, but personally I found it interesting yet somewhat boring. Definitely not my cup of tea!

If you decide to give it a watch maybe you want to see the original Danish film of the same name as people say it's much better. I wish I had found out about this before starting the remake! Oh well..

It's seems interesting from the trailer, but too much talk no action, a couple swash buckling action you know could make it even better. But it's a movie one can relax with. It's not bad at all.

I hate remakes :D

Special the older ones that was made with a lot of love like Ben Hur, planet of the apes and so on :D

I wholeheartedly agree! I watched it, didn't hate it, didn't like it either, a bit like how I feel about Jake Gyllenhaal in general.

I am a fan of Jake Gyllenhaal. In my opinion he is a really good actor. Going to watch the movie in the next days.
