Sweet Tooth - Different is good | Impressions and series review

Hello, living beings! I was going to talk about something else, but I'll take advantage of the fact that on June 4 Sweet Tooth was released and the plot being a bit weird caught my attention and I decided to watch it, I didn't sleep at all that night, the need to know more grew with each chapter I watched and I couldn't stop until I finished it, did I want more? Definitely, will I read the comic? Definitely not.

Sweet Tooth is the story of the end of the world as we knew it for two reasons, the first is the appearance of a deadly disease that has no cure and causes a global pandemic that kills more than half the world, something very close to reality, the truth; and the second reason is the appearance of hybrids, children who are born half human and half animal.

Les iba a hablar de otra cosa, pero aprovecharé de que el 4 de junio fue estrenada Sweet Tooth y la trama al ser un poco rara me llamó la atención y decidí verla, no dormí en absoluto esa noche, la necesidad de saber más crecía con cada capítulo que veía y no pude parar hasta que la terminé, ¿quedé con ganas de más? Definitivamente, ¿leeré el cómic? Definitivamente no.

Sweet Tooth es la historia del fin del mundo como lo conocíamos por dos razones, la primera es la aparición de una enfermedad mortal que no tiene cura y causa una pandemia mundial que mata a más de medio mundo, algo muy parecido a la realidad, la verdad; y la segunda razón es la aparición de los híbridos, niños que nacen siendo mitad humanos y mitad animal.

I died of tenderness when I saw those babies with animal traits, there are all kinds of them, although I think we don't have aquatic animals, anyway, this is only the first season and I'm looking forward to a second season and keep telling us how this incredible story continues.

In Sweet Tooth, we will meet Gus, a deer boy raised in the middle of the woods by his father, totally isolated from the society that went to shit. Gus is one of the cutest and sweetest things out there, from the first chapter I was crying because of him, even though I can't be bothered with him, no matter how naive he can be.

Yo morí de ternura al ver a esos bebés con rasgos animales, los hay de todo tipo, aunque creo que de animales acuáticos nos, pero en fin, esta es solo la primera temporada y espero con ansias que saquen una segunda temporada y nos sigan contando cómo continúa esta increíble historia.

En Sweet Tooth nos vamos a encontrar con Gus, un niño ciervo criado en medio del bosque por su padre, aislado totalmente de la sociedad que se fue a la mierda. Gus es una de las cosas más tiernas y dulces que hay, desde el primer capítulo estuve llorando por culpa de él, aunque no me puedo molestar con él, sin importar lo ingenuo que pueda llegar a ser.

This is one of those series where we are going to see a little bit of everything: the consequences of growing up apart from society and the mistakes that can be made when interacting with the world for the first time, naivety above all, Gus is a very sweet boy who had not known evil and when he does he does not know how to react to it; we will also see one of the many post-apocalyptic futures of the world, different groups of people and different types of governments if you can call them that.

One of the things that made me laugh the most is that humans are always afraid of what is different, it is hard for them to accept that they are not unique, nor the definitive creation that will exist in this world, it is very likely that in less than a hundred years we will all become extinct and a new species of human beings will evolve and everything we currently know will disappear and if someone manages to survive they will see how everything they thought they knew will turn to ashes to give way to the future.

Esta es una de esas series donde vamos a ver de todo un poco: las consecuencias de crecer apartado de la sociedad y los errores que se pueden cometer al interactuar por primera vez con el mundo, la ingenuidad sobre todo, Gus es un niño muy dulce que no había conocido la maldad y cuando lo hace no sabe cómo reaccionar a ella; también veremos uno de los muchos futuros postapocalipticos del mundo, diferentes grupos de personas y diferentes tipos de gobiernos, si es que se les puede llamar así.

Una de las cosas que más risa me dio es que los humanos siempre le tienen miedo a lo diferente, les cuesta aceptar que no son únicos, ni la creación definitiva que va a existir en este mundo, es muy probable que en menos de cien años todos nos extingamos y una nueva especia de seres humanos evolucione y todo lo que conozcamos actualmente desaparezca y si alguien logra sobrevivir verá cómo todo lo que creía conocer se vuelve cenizas para darle paso al futuro.

Getting to know the world, going on adventures, getting out of the shell in which we were raised, daring to leave our comfort zone and do new things will always be something that will amaze us, Gus is the perfect way to remind us that we can do whatever we want if we dare to take that leap of faith and trust in ourselves and the people we have around us.

We are going to meet many types of people here, the story is not only focused on Gus, but on the history of many people who at some point will be mixed with each other and we will have a final result that will leave us with a lump in the throat impossible to release. We will have the bad guys, the good guys, the good guys who become bad guys, the bad guys who become good guys, and people who will bring tears to your eyes for all the sacrifices they make for the good of others.

Conocer el mundo, ir de aventuras, salir del cascarón en el que fuimos criados, atrevernos a salir de nuestra zona de confort y hacer cosas nuevas siempre va a ser algo que nos va a maravillar, Gus es la forma perfecta de volver a recordar que podemos hacer lo que queramos si nos atrevemos a dar ese salto de fe y confiamos en nosotros mismos y las personas que tenemos a nuestro alrededor.

Nos vamos a encontrar con muchos tipos de personas aquí, la historia no solo se centra en Gus, si no en la historia de muchas personas que en algún momento se van a mezclar entre sí y tendremos un resultado final que nos dejará con un nudo en la garganta imposible de soltar. Tendremos a los malos, a los buenos, a los buenos que se convierten en malos, a los malos que se convierten en buenos y a gente que te sacará lágrimas por todos los sacrificios que llegan a realizar por el bien de los demás.

You won't regret watching Sweet Tooth! It's not all love and good things here, there are scenes that are very strong and can cause an impact on children, that's why I don't recommend watching it with them, although you can watch the series first and then let them watch it if you think it's convenient, there are many lessons here that can be useful when dealing with children who are different from the rest. Needless to say, I hated everyone who wanted to hurt the hybrids, right? WHO THE FUCK DECIDES OF THEIR OWN WILL TO HUNT CHILDREN?! I hated them.

Anyway, here I leave you the trailer, if you are not completely convinced, give the first chapter a chance and I assure you that you will fall in love and you will have the same need I had to know more and more, and I still need to know what happens with all the characters, the number of plot twists is too many and although at one point one can imagine them, we don't always get it right.

¡No se arrepentirán de ver Sweet Tooth! No todo es amor y cosas buenas aquí, hay escenas que son muy fuertes y pueden llegar a causar impacto en niños, por eso no recomiendo que la vean con ellos, aunque pueden ver ustedes primero la serie y después dejar que ellos la vean si ustedes lo creen conveniente, hay muchas enseñanzas aquí que pueden llegar a ser útiles al momento de tratar con niños que son diferentes del resto. No hace falta decir que odié a todos los que querían hacerle daño a los híbridos, ¿verdad? ¡¿QUIÉN CARAJOS DECIDE POR VOLUNTAD PROPIA CAZAR NIÑOS?! Los odié.

En fin, aquí les dejo el trailer, si no los convence del todo, denle la oportunidad al primer capítulo y les aseguro que se enamorarán y tendrán la misma necesidad que yo tuve de saber más y más, y sigo necesitando saber qué sucede con todos los personajes, la cantidad de giros en la trama son demasiado y aunque en un punto uno puede llegar a imaginarlos, no siempre acertamos del todo.
