Hoy comparto con ustedes esta sencilla receta. Es rápida y fácil de hacer, y es una forma estupenda de convencer a los pequeños de la casa de que coman esta nutritiva verdura. Es ideal para el desayuno o la merienda.
Hablando de la zanahoria, les cuento que es uno de los vegetales que más tenemos presente en nuestra dieta diaria, nos proporciona beneficios significativos en la visión, en la piel y en el sistema cardiovascular, nos aporta altas cantidades de vitaminas A, B, C y E, carbohidratos, fósforo, calcio y betacarotenos. La zanahoria también contiene un alto porcentaje en fibra, lo que facilita el tránsito intestinal.
Today I share with you this simple recipe. It's quick and easy to make, and it's a great way to convince the little ones in the house to eat this nutritious vegetable. It's great for breakfast or a snack.
Speaking of carrots, I tell you that it is one of the vegetables that we have more present in our daily diet, it provides us with significant benefits in vision, skin and cardiovascular system, it provides us with high amounts of vitamins A, B, C and E, carbohydrates, phosphorus, calcium and beta-carotene. Carrots also contain a high percentage of fiber, which facilitates intestinal transit.

Ingredientes:


  • 250 grs de zanahoria
  • 1 taza de azúcar
  • 1 naranja
  • 1 limón
  • 2 tazas de agua

Ingredients:


  • 250 grams of carrots
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 orange
  • 1 lemon
  • 2 cups of water

Paso a paso de esta sencilla receta || Step by step of this simple recipe


Paso Nº 1:


Primeramente lavamos las zanahorias y las troceamos, luego la ponemos a cocinar en dos tazas de aguas por 20 minutos hasta que ablande y luego bajamos de fuego y hacemos un puré.

Step Nº 1:


First wash the carrots and chop them, then put them to cook in two cups of water for 20 minutes until soft and then lower the heat and make a puree.


Paso Nº 2:


Ahora agregamos azúcar al puré, la ralladura y el jugo de naranja, el jugo de limón, una pizca de sal y media taza de agua y ponemos a cocinar a fuego lento durante 20 minutos o hasta que quede seco.

Step Nº 2:


Now add sugar to the puree, orange zest and juice, lemon juice, a pinch of salt and half a cup of water and simmer for 20 minutes or until dry.



Ya listo tenemos nuestra deliciosa Mermelada de zanahoria, la podemos acompañar con tostadas galletas, pan y también podemos comerla sola

Now we have our delicious carrot jam, we can serve it with toast, cookies, bread and we can also eat it alone.
