What I feed my 6 month old

Hello Friends!

Today I'm going to talk about toddler foods. I'm sure there might be so many new moms here who have recently stepped into parenthood and are struggling to learn about their children & how to raise them to healthy children. I am personally one of them so can totally understand the agony and anxiety of a new mom.

I didn't know anything about parenthood till now. It's now that I have a young one to take care of and I'm learning. My baby is now 6 months old and is ready to taste food besides my milk. I was not very sure what to start with so I followed a lot of young mothers on youtube and Instagram and finally got some quick recipes to feed my young one. For now, I will only share those recipes that I've tried on him and have worked well for him.

  • Mashed Banana - My baby loves mashed bananas. The recipe is extremely simple. Just take half banana in a bowl and mash it well with a fork and a spoon, today! Since banana is sweet, these kids love it as their first food.
  • Rava Kheer - This one again sweet in taste. You can use 2 tbsp roasted Rava in a pan, add about 200ml of milk and 1/2 spoon jaggery powder and stir well on low flame for about 2-3 minutes. Cool it down and serve it to your little one.
  • Carrot Puree - Cut the carrot into small chunks and boil in water. Then blend in a mixer to form a fine puree.

These are some simple, tried, and tested recipes. I'm going to share more as i will learn more.
