Vegetable Pasta

For today's meal let's cook a delicious pasta. This dish is ready in 15 minutes. A healthy quick dish your family will love.

Ingredients

Pasta, penne
Onion, diced
Garlic, minced
Tomato sauce
Basil, dried
Broccoli, florets
Capsicum, any color
Tomatoes, quartered
Mushrooms, optional

Preparations

  1. Boil the pasta according to the instructions

  2. Steam the broccoli for 4 minutes and drain. Set aside.

  3. Saute onion and garlic until fragrant.

  4. Add the capsicum and stir fry.

  5. Add the chopped tomatoes and mix until tomatoes are mushy.

  6. Put in the tomato sauce and mushrooms, stir well.

  7. Next, add the drained pasta and combine well.

  8. Then add the basil herb. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

I use very ripe tomatoes, it adds juice and gives a sweeter taste to the dish.

Simple and flavorful.
