Breaded Salmon fish
Breaded fish are coated with plain or seasoned breadcrumbs, They are gently pan fried in a medium heat until golden brown. A delicious and easy meal to prepare.
In this recipe, I skipped the flour mixture and directly dipped the fish to the beaten egg mixture and then to the seasoned breadcrumbs.
Ingredients
- Fish
- Egg, lightly beaten
- Breadcrumbs
- Oregano, dried, ½ tsp
- Basil, dried, ½ tsp
- Onion powder, optional
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparations
Season the breadcrumbs with salt, pepper, dried oregano, dried basil and onion powder.
Place the egg mixture and breadcrumbs mixture separately in a shallow dish.
Dipped the fish into the egg mixture.
Then to the breadcrumbs mixture.
Heat skillet over a medium heat and add enough oil.
Pan fry the fish 3-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Serve with a slice of lemon and fresh vegetable.
It's simple and delicious with or without dipping sauce.
