Vegan Burgers came a long way

Evolution of Vegan and Vegetarian food

The reasons for I have became vegetarian were moral and ethical. So even when buying vegetarian products I always try to be aware of how they are produced and how sustainable they are.

Haven't even been vegetarian for that long (going on 3 years) and I see a huge evolution in this products and thankfully a bigger variety. This fact make me happy because it shows that we can definitely live, enjoying super delicious food and without practising animal cruelty or destroying the planet.

I am mostly sure if I haven't told You this was a Vegan burger You would probably have it and maybe, just maybe only half way You would notice the difference.

End Game and dinner

We are at a point that we might be able to play the End game and turn around the situation of the planet. Change the food industry as we know, change mentalities, be healthier, be more aware and help create a better future to everyone out there.

But even if You feel that You are not ready to make take that leap at least whenever You go and buy food or even other products for your household try and make sure they are sustainable, recyclable and all that good stuff. That is already a huge change and a big help.

What else is in the plate

Now that You already heard about this juicy and delicious vegan burger let me tell You what else have Duncan prepared to go with it.

Penne pasta is for sure the favourite during this quarantine. But thankfully just the fact that small tweaks here and there make a huge different in the final result it is easy to not get tired of it.

Ingredients on the Pasta

  • cherry tomatoes
  • mushrooms
  • courgettes
  • garlic
  • tomato and basil sauce
  • Olive oil
  • herbs and spices at your choices

How to prepare?

You can choose to oven or pan fry Your burgers. In this case since they come seasoned already Duncan have just popped them in the oven for 11 minutes.
Then, slice the mushrooms, dice the courgettes and cut the cherry tomatoes in half.
Boil the pasta at Your taste, everyone have different preferences when it comes to the pasta texture. And it doesn't have to be penne, choose Your favourite one.
Add all the vegetables to a pan with some olive oil and stir fry them for some minutes. Add the tomato and basil sauce and let it sit for a couple more minutes in low heat.
Whenever the pasta is boiled just mix it all together and it is ready to serve.

My hope is vegan food to eventually go down in price. They're charging so much for food when they first came out.
