El máximo placer de la vida | Life's greatest pleasure
La comida no solo es una necesidad, más que eso es uno de los muchos placeres de la vida y para muchos es el máximo placer.
A pesar de que no suelo hablar de este tema en mi blog hoy es una ocasión especial, por ello he tomado la decisión de aceptar la invitación de @maryed (experta en recetas saludables y sabrosas) a esta exquisita iniciativa creada por @yolimarag y hablarles un poco de mis tres comidas favoritas.
Hay tantos platillos que me encantan que no supe inmediatamente cual decidir, pero como el titulo son tres comidas que me encantan hablaré de mis comidas favoritas para el desayuno, el almuerzo y la cena respectivamente... y quizás un postre ¿Por qué no? Sin más que decir vamos a ello viajeros.
Food is not only a necessity, more than that it is one of life's many pleasures and for many it is the ultimate pleasure.
Although I don't usually talk about this topic in my blog, today is a special occasion, so I have decided to accept the invitation of @maryed (expert in healthy and tasty recipes) to this exquisite initiative created by @yolimarag and tell you a little about my three favorite foods.
There are so many dishes that I love that I didn't know immediately which one to choose but as the title is three meals that I love I will talk about my favorite meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner respectively... and maybe a dessert why not? Without further ado let's get to it travelers.
Cereal
Un plato hondo estilo bol, un poco de leche y tu cereal favorito con unas cuantas frutas picadas ¿Hay algo que pueda salir mal con esto? lo dudo mucho.
El cereal ha sido uno de mis desayunos favoritos de toda la vida, aunque ya no lo consumo con frecuencia siempre que hay en casa es un inmenso placer despertar temprano en la mañana y servirte tu buen tazón de cereal con un poco de fruta y leche, mientras te pones cómodo para ver tu serie favorita.
Rápido, sencillo y sin mucha perdida; mis cereales favoritos son los que vienen con avena y pasas como lo era el Muslin de la marca Kellogg´s la cual es muy famosa en mi país y me atrevería a decir que en el mundo.
Me gusta picarle un poco de fruta, manzana, banana o en ocasiones fresas cuando compramos en casa. Soy de comer mucha fruta, no me gusta mucho los desayunos pesados, pero sin duda uno de mis mayores placeres en el mundo culinario es un suculento cereal con frutas picadas.
A deep bowl-style dish, some milk, and your favorite cereal with a few chopped fruits. Is there anything that can go wrong with this?
Cereal has been one of my favorite breakfasts all my life, although I don't eat it often anymore whenever there is at home it is an immense pleasure to wake up early in the morning and serve yourself your nice bowl of cereal with some fruit and milk, while you get comfortable to watch your favorite series.
Quick, simple, and without much loss; my favorite cereals are those that come with oats and raisins as was the Muslin of Kellogg's brand which is very famous in my country and I dare say in the world.
I like to snack on some fruit, apple, banana or sometimes strawberries when we buy them at home. I eat a lot of fruit, I don't like heavy breakfasts, but without a doubt, one of my greatest pleasures in the culinary world is a succulent cereal with chopped fruit.
Parrilla de mariscos | Seafood grill
Cuando pienso en un buen almuerzo siempre se me viene a la mente algo proveniente del mar.
Me considero un fan empedernido del pescado, me gustan muchos tipos; merluza, atún, bagre, salmón pero lo que más me gusta de la comida marina son los llamados frutos de mar o los maricos.
Los platillos con pescado siempre irán primero para mí, pero si tengo la oportunidad de comer una buena parrilla de mariscos o una ensalada de camarón no lo pensaré dos veces.
En mi país o al menos en la región donde vivo los frutos de mar son bastante costosos sin embargo cuando tengo la oportunidad de hacerlo tengo que consentirme sí o sí con este platillo tan especial, en casa cuando vivía con mis abuelos era un poco más frecuente (a pesar del costo) a mi abuela y abuelo le gustaba también el pescado y la comida del amor y en el almuerzo era ley cuando menos un caldito de pescado y cuando los planetas se alineaban la parrilla de mariscos nunca faltaba.
Sin duda mi platillo favorito para el almuerzo, de hecho, ya hasta se me acaba de antojar una nuevamente.
When I think of a good lunch, something from the sea always comes to mind.
I consider myself an inveterate fan of fish, I like many types; hake, tuna, catfish, salmon but what I like most about seafood are the so-called seafood or shellfish.
Fish dishes will always come first for me, but if I have the opportunity to eat a good seafood grill or a shrimp salad I will not think twice.
In my country or at least in the region where I live seafood is quite expensive but when I have the opportunity to do so I have to spoil myself with this special dish, at home when I lived with my grandparents was a little more frequent (despite the cost) my grandmother and grandfather also liked fish and love food and at lunch it was law at least a fish broth and when the planets aligned the seafood grill was never missing.
Without a doubt my favorite dish for lunch, in fact, I've just had a craving for one again.
Pizza
Seguramente este platillo aparecerá en las listas de muchos buenos usuarios ¿Pero cómo no incluirlo? No hacerlo sería una falta total a mis principios de glotonería.
Cenar con pizza es de mis más grandes placeres, claro no es mi cena recurrente, pero hay veces que me imagino en la comodidad de mi cama mirando anime o alguna serie y solo pienso en tener un buen trozo de pizza conmigo.
No tengo una particularmente favorita, a veces se me antoja una sencilla margarita, a veces una con bastante pepperoni, otra vez quiero una pizza estilo Chicago. Aunque si te lo puedes permitir no hay nada como una buena pizza casera preparada con los ingredientes que más te gustan.
Puede ser algo bastante cliché, pero seamos sinceros con nosotros mismos ¿hay quien no ame la pizza? Yo no puedo confiar en alguien que no ame la pizza y sin duda en una noche lluviosa a la luz de mi computador un trozo de pizza siempre será una compañía más que suficiente y necesaria.
Surely this dish will appear in the lists of many good users, but how not to include it? Not doing so would be a total lack of my principles of gluttony.
Dining with pizza is one of my greatest pleasures, of course, it is not my recurring dinner, but there are times when I imagine myself in the comfort of my bed watching anime or some series and I just think of having a good slice of pizza with me.
I don't have a particular favorite, sometimes I crave a simple margarita, sometimes one with plenty of pepperonis, another time I want a Chicago-style pizza. Although if you can afford it there is nothing like a good homemade pizza prepared with the toppings you love.
It may be a cliché, but let's be honest with ourselves, is there anyone who doesn't love pizza? I can't trust anyone who doesn't love pizza and certainly on a rainy night by the light of my computer a slice of pizza will always be more than enough and necessary company.
Bonus
Ensalada de frutas | Fruit salad
Una merienda de vez en cuando nunca viene mal y a mí en particular me encanta la fruta, a veces por las tardes me como una banana, un mango o unas naranjas.
Pero hay veces en que lo único que quiere es picar algunas manzanas, un poco de sandía, algo de piña y un melón y unas bananas y hacerme un buen cuenco de ensalada de frutas, en ocasiones me paso de gordo y le agrego un poquito de miel o de papelón rallado o azúcar moreno.
Esto definitivamente es todo un manjar para mí cuando me da hambre por las tardes, nunca me canso de la ensalada de frutas.
A snack from time to time never hurts and I particularly love fruit, sometimes in the afternoon I eat a banana, a mango or some oranges.
But there are times when I just want to chop some apples, some watermelon, some pineapple, some melon and some bananas and make myself a nice bowl of fruit salad, sometimes I go overboard and add a little bit of honey or brown sugar.
This is definitely a delicacy for me when I get hungry in the afternoons, I never get tired of fruit salad.
