Cheap and Tasty Padang's Food Stall At Pekanbaru

Hi, welcome to my post. After a long time, I haven’t posted anything tonight I will tell you about “Cheap and Tasty Padang’s Food Stall in my city, Pekanbaru.

This place is located at Soebrantas road, just right next to the main road. This place provides so many varieties of Padang food like Dendeng, Rendang, etc. this food stall is called “Ampera Nurul Piaman”.

Since a few years ago I started to eat at this place and because I love the food taste and how good their service I’m starting to love this place and until now this place is one of my favorite place to eat.

Even if the food tastes good and the location is on the main road, the price is not expensive, the price range is on IDR 10000 - IDR 20000 depending on the menu that you order.

For the chicken meat menu like fried chicken, chicken rendang, chicken chili sauce, and other chicken-based food is just costs you IDR 10000. And for the beef or cow meat menu it cost you IDR 15000 or about USD 1.

One portion of food either cricket or beef meat contain few things wich is 2 bowl of rice, some vegetables, and few spoons of chili sauce.

For the vegetables is changed every day, depending on whatever they want to cook for the vegetable. Usually, the vegetable they use is young sweet potato leaves, kale, genjer, etc. the vegetable is steamed with some salt so it tastes better. But you don’t have to worry about the taste, usually, they put some curry soup on top of the steamed vegetables, and one more good thing is that you can order extra vegetables with curry soup for free of charge.

For the chili sauce, there are a few kinds of chili sauce they made like red chili sauce, green chili sauce, mashed raw chilis, and the other kind of chili sauce.

You can order some signature crackers from Padang food stall or Padang restaurant here. There are two kinds of crackers you can order. First, Jangek Cracker, the cracker made from sliced fried beef or cow skin, and the other one is Emping cracker made from melinjo fruit.

One pack of the jangek cracker or emping cracker cost about IDR 2000, and you can order 1 portion of jangek cracker, emping cracker, or both with some curry soup on top of it for IDR 5000.

Every customer can eat the food that they order at this place or just take it away and eat the food elsewhere with no additional charge.

Every person that orders food from this place got free Tea cool or warm ( tasteless tea, tea with no sugar on it). Or you can order real tea and black coffee, and this place also provides fruit juice and egg tea.

This time I order Chicken rendang, my favorite food at this place is “dendeng”, but for some reason that day they don’t provide it so Chicken Rendang is fine too.

Like the other Padang restaurant or Padang food stall, you can order an additional bowl of rice for IDR 1000, and you can ask for additional chili sauce and curry sauce for free.
