Un día de Waffles / A day of Waffles
Hoy hice algo diferente, salimos con mi mamá por un waffle, a un lugar que no íbamos desde hace un año, cuando en Colombia iniciamos la cuarentena. A este lugar nos gustaba mucho ir, ella y yo, amamos los waffles dulces con helado, algo que a mi hermano ni a mi papá parece gustarles.
Today I did something different, we went out with my mom for a waffle, to a place we haven't been to for a year, when we started our quarantine in Colombia. We loved going to this place, she and I, we love sweet waffles with ice cream, something that neither my brother nor my dad seem to like.
En el lugar, que se llama Waffly, no nos bajamos, estamos iniciando el tercer pico de la pandemia y aunque en Pasto aún no hay muchos casos de contagio, preferimos mantener la distancia, sobre todo porque mi mamá tiene problemas de salud y no queremos que nada le vaya a pasar.
In the place, which is called Waffly, we do not get off, we are starting the third peak of the pandemic and although in Pasto there are still not many cases of infection, we prefer to keep our distance, especially because my mother has health problems and we do not want anything to happen to her.
Me bajé rápido del auto y le solicité un formulario a la señorita que se encontraba ahí, fui al carro y con calma decidimos que queríamos. Pedimos masa de chocolate con brownie, otras veces había pedido con coco y vainilla, pero, no son tan ricas como la de chocolate; también pedimos helado de frutos rojos, salsa de Nutella y chispitas de colores.
I quickly got out of the car and asked for a form to the lady who was there, I went to the car and we calmly decided what we wanted. We ordered chocolate brownie dough, other times I had ordered coconut and vanilla, but they are not as good as chocolate; we also ordered red fruit ice cream, Nutella sauce and colored sprinkles.
Tras un rato de espera, llegaron con nuestros waffles y yo empecé comiendo el helado cubierto de nutella y chispitas de colores, siempre pido con galletas, no sé porque hoy cambie, la verdad, esas pepas no me llaman la atención, me parece que no saben a nada, además, con el frío del helado se ponen duras y es como comer pequeñas `piedras de colores, je, je, pero, lo disfruté.
After a while of waiting, they arrived with our waffles and I started eating the ice cream covered with nutella and colored sprinkles, I always order with cookies, I don't know why today I changed, the truth, those sprinkles don't call my attention, I think they don't taste like anything, besides, with the cold of the ice cream they get hard and it's like eating small "colored stones", heh, heh, but, I enjoyed it.
Poco a poco se fue terminando el helado...
Little by little, the ice cream was running out...
Hasta que no quedó nada de aquella helada crema de frutos rojos.
Until there was nothing left of that frosty red berry cream.
Y empecé a comer la masa de chocolate con brownie que aún estaba caliente y crujiente.
And I started eating the chocolate brownie batter that was still warm and crunchy.
La última cucharada

Y terminé.
And I finished
Con la alegría de haber comido algo delicioso, regresamos a casa, para continuar cuidándonos mucho, evitando tumultos de gente, porque ya perdimos algunos familiares por el Covid-19 , lo que nos ha mantenido un poco más alerta con esta difícil enfermedad.
Así transcurrió mi tarde, un día diferente, donde Iris y tequila debieron quedarse en casa, mientras mi mami y yo salimos en completa clandestinidad (mi papá no sabe a donde fuimos, pero si lee esto, lo sabrá, ja, ja), a darnos un gusto y a compartir las dos, momentos únicos, bellos, que son los que más se valoran con los seres que amamos.
With the joy of having eaten something delicious, we returned home, to continue taking good care of ourselves, avoiding crowds of people, because we have already lost some family members to Covid-19, which has kept us a little more alert with this difficult disease.
That's how my afternoon went, a different day, where Iris and Tequila had to stay at home, while my mom and I went out in complete secrecy (my dad doesn't know where we went, but if he reads this, he will know, ha, ha), to treat ourselves and share the two of us, unique, beautiful moments, which are the ones that are most valued with the ones we love.

Hahahaha, what a beautiful and cool post! The dolls are very creative and could serve to encourage those children who are somewhat difficult or slow to eat, so that they consider that eating is a game, a beautiful story. I loved it. All the best.

Es muy agradable compartir con los seres queridos y más con la mamá , yo recuerdo salir con la mía , pero nunca disfrutamos un helado , yo tenía demasiado peso encima ja,ja,ja, , así que ella tal vez no me insinuaba nada al respecto , pero si comía pollo , le encantaba , cuida mucho a tus padres son un inmenso tesoro.
Así es @lupega, los papás son seres invaluables, nuestro apoyo y debemos aprovecharlos, porque no sabemos hasta cuando nos acompañaran
