Ingredients for this cookies:

  • Flour: 250 grams (2 cups)
  • Butter: 188 grams
  • Eggs: 2 pieces
  • Sugar powder: 180 grams (1/3 cup + 3 ounces)
  • Raisins: 120 grams (2/3 cup)
  • Vanilla: 1/4 teaspoon

Preparation for raisin cookies.:

To make homemade raisin pastry(raisin cookies.), first take the butter out of the refrigerator to soften it at room temperature.
Then pour the butter into a large bowl and add the powdered sugar and vanilla essence to it and mix well with a mixer to get a smooth mixture and cream color.

Then add the eggs to the ingredients and beat well again with a mixer until the eggs are homogeneous with the ingredients and add the flour little by little and mix (in three steps)
Then add the raisins
Take out the oven tray and turn on the oven and set it at 160 degrees Celsius to heat.

We cover the bottom of the oven tray with greaseproof paper and pour about the size of a walnut on greaseproof paper (because the ingredients flatten after cooking and need to fit).

Then, as far as the tray is concerned, pour the pastry ingredients on greaseproof paper and place the tray in the oven until the pastries are baked for 10 to 15 minutes.

To make sure the sweets are cooked or not, we look at the edges of the sweets. If they are golden, the sweets are ready and we take the tray out of the oven and wait for the raisin sweets to cool down a bit. Then gently separate and put in a bowl.

  • Remove the eggs from the refrigerator half an hour earlier to bring them to room temperature.
  • Wash the raisins well before use and soak them in water for a few minutes to soften them.
  • Sift the powdered sugar so that there are no large grains in it.
