Here's a look at a classic southern fried chicken sandwich from Popeye's Louisiana Kitchen. These things were a viral sensation when they first launched. Popeye's was sold out all across the country. After the hype died down, it became easier to get my hands on one. At only $3.99 it's a good deal for a solid chicken sandwich. It's a nice juicy piece of fried chicken, between a soft, buttery brioche bun, topped with mayo and pickles. As you can see, it's a good-looking sandwich. I'm definitely happy they started selling these.

I still haven't gotten the chance to try one of these. I don't even know where the closets Popeye's is to us. I hope to try it one day. My sister really likes their food, but I have never had it.
