Turkey for Thanksgiving Dinner - 2019

Last Thanksgiving was a good one. We spent it at my parents house for the first time ever. The extended family on @sjagoe's side came for dinner as well as @nicollefiallo and her dad. The night before Thanksgiving, @cjagoe had informed us that the Turkey she got was not thawed and it would not be ready in time for Thanksgiving. My uncle Rich came to the rescue and picked up a last-minute 24.2 pound bird and brought it over at 7 AM to start cooking on Thanksgiving morning.

He's a professional chef and certainly know what he's doing. Here's a look at the glorious 24.2 turkey when it was almost finished. It was filled with stuffing and had a nice crispy golden brown skin. Reminiscing makes me hungry.
