GNOCCHI RECIPE / / TASTY & QUICK 🤤
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all doing fine! Yesterday I cooked a special dinner for me and my boyfriend, to relax at home with a good movie. I decided to cook gnocchi with heavy cream and mushrooms which is one of his favorite food.
INGREDIENTS:
- 500gr dry packaged gnocchi (or you can make your own)
- 3 large mushrooms of your choice (I used agaricus)
- 1 large onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 200gr heavy cream
- 3 slices of bacon ( or pancetta)
- 80gr pecorino cheese (or any other hard salted cheese)
Start by cutting mushrooms, garlic, onion and bacon into thin pieces and prepare them for fry. At the same time boil gnocchi, it onlys takes 4 minutes to be ready.
Put bacon and garlic in the pan to fry and release scents.
As soon as bacon is deep fried, add onion in the pan.
Now add the mushrooms in the pan to fry with the rest ingredients for a while. Maybe if you want you can add some soy sauce for extra taste.
Now it's time to add the heavy cream in the pan and add some salt and papper.
Add gnocchi and cheese in to the pan and stir with the other ingredients. Do not let too much time cause gnocchi will be overboiled.
Serve with extra pecorino and dinner is ready! 😃
I hope you liked my gnocchi recipe, it is really fast and tasty, but there are also many alternative recipes you can experiment with! Let me know if tried mine and you liked it, or if you know a tasty alternative recipe that I should try!
